Safe travels Sylvester. The Terminal 2, International, is a bit different but I think you find taxis right outside of the terminal baggage claim area also.
I would only use Manila or Clark airport if you are going to Luzon otherwise, I would travel theu Cebu airport if going anywhere else in the Philippines. Cebu airport is very nice and easy to get from the international terminal to the domestic terminal.
You make driving in the city look so easy. I would be scared to death. Thanks for the tour. Landing at mid night on the 18th. I am hoping I can change some money some place to pay the cab driver.
Great video, love this airport, love Cebu so much, coming soon. Inside the international terminal going out from the Philippines, food and drinks very expensive.
I'm surprised Rod, I arrived couple weeks ago, white taxi wanted 675 pesos, I ended up with yellow for 450, they should do something to make it easier for arriving tourists, we're tired on arrival, easy targets for rip off
Waterfront is a great hotel and I really loved their buffets… much cheaper than Sheraton on Mactan Island… I really enjoyed my stay there and is a perfect place to stay a night or two before your flight out …
Good show around Hope Cebu don't turn into Manila airport. Airport looks much better then before. Read Clark airport is under expansion. Like that Waterfront is nearby.
The price does include insurance but I thought it a bit high also. It has been 9 years since I rented in the USA and they always try to sell you insurance above the rental cost.
Good idea Mr Macau. I often used an "airport van" service in Phoenix, AZ, USA that was cheaper than taxis with several passengers going different places. They went out of business the last couple of years I was there. Not sure if it is a bad business model or management.
Hi Rod. I'll be heading back to Cebu in April. I'm only there for a short time because my real destination is Dumaguete. Why does Cebu Pacific have absolutely zero flights on the 26th? Strange. I guess it'll be the bus for me. One question, does Ceres really have a bus leaving the south terminal going to Dumaguete at 11pm?
Safe travels! Not sure about the bus schedule but probably a late bus so people can arrive about 5AM. The same with ferries, I think several leave late and arrive early with Cokaliong having hundreds of bunks so you can get some sleep on the 5-6 hour trip, better than the bus.
Rod, can you give us more info about the Ayala mall shuttle service to and from the airport? How much and how do we book it? Keep up the good work. Very informative.
Hey Rod, thanks for the info, it looks like this is where I'll be arriving, you mentioned a hotel at the airport or next to maybe, is that the best route if you're going to take a domestic flight after a day or so rest, do you have any insight on this.
Waterfront Hotel and Casino is across the street Dharri. One used to be able to walk across but not sure anymore with the new street system. It is a short ride over to Cebu City also, so any hotel will work for a rest. Not much else around Waterfront Hotel on Mactan. Quest Hotel, Mandarin Hotel, and ParkLane are close to Ayala as is Seda. Seda Hotel is also connected to the Ayala Mall in IT Park.
@@AmazingPhilippines1 Thanks so much Rod, this helps a lot, I wouldn't mind being close to the mall to just check things out before i move on. The flights that I like seem to all land at night around 11;30 or later will need to figure out the logistics re: exchanging money, obtaining sim card etc...
@@DHarri9977 If not exchanging money at the airport itself, the SM Store in any SM Mall had better rates than anything at Ayala that I found last September. SIM cards are available at the airport too but cheaper deals at malls FYI
@@DHarri9977 I can vouch for Seda IT Park. Solid place, good gym, great breakfast buffet included in the deal I got, great location. Spent 12 nights there.
Rod always tells the truth. I like Cebu Airport, never had a problem. Its probably the easiest way into the Phils. Manila is nightmare. The other best way is Clark. For a weird experience, try Davao, the ghost airport. Its totaly empty. I was there 2 times, totaly empty. Best way to get there is with Singapore airlines. I think its best airline in the world. I travel with KLM or Air France cos being in the North of UK. They are kind of fine. Never had problem. Always best to do a lot of searches, get a load of prices, then something happens. What airline would you reckomend? For Brazil, its got to be Swiss Air. For Asia, nobody is as good as Singapore Airlines. They are the best. Lets leave it at there. Hope for your opinions.
I stopped in at that Shakeys Pizza there at the Terminal. The prices were terrible. But that's to be expected at any airport isn't it. 😅 600 pesos for the smallest pizza.
There is 1 or 2 bus services Rick. Mybus is one of them. Taxis are quite inexpensive though. You should be able to go almost anywhere in Cebu City for 500 pesos or less depending on traffic.

Wow 😲❤ very nice CEBU International airport Here in Cebu Philippines...
Very nice airport I arrived in Cebu 2018 and I'm still in the Philippines 😅
Cool! Glad it has worked out for you Phil.
Good stuff. I will be landing there tomorrow. Gonna be interesting with the Taxi cabs. I will be prepared! Lol

Nice infos Rod! Keep safe my friend😊
Thanks Anelyn.

Thanks for the tips James.
@@AmazingPhilippines1 the Bo’s Coffee is it on the ground floor? I think the Camden store is on the ground floor too. Thank you.
Good information, Rod. Thanks for sharing.

There are money exchange in the airports, probably 24 hour Jim. Not the best rate, maybe 40:$1, but it gets you pesos.
@@AmazingPhilippines1 Thanks.

Thanks Gabor. Food in most airports is expensive.

450 was a very good rate depending on where you went Rick. I agree, tourists are tired and easy "prey".
White taxis are cheaper than yellow and van, cost approximately no more than P300 any place within Cebu city.
Good info as usual Rod thx.
No problem 👍Tony!

Good show around

Read Clark airport is under expansion.
Like that Waterfront is nearby.
I think Clark had some major storm damage a year or 2 ago but up and running again.
That is a very nice airport in Cebu Rod I haven't been there in person yet. Those car places are expensive Rod ouch 🤕
The price does include insurance but I thought it a bit high also. It has been 9 years since I rented in the USA and they always try to sell you insurance above the rental cost.
❇️ Instead of yellow taxis > Cebu airport can provide a mini bus services to Cebu City for a fixed fee … say 100 pesos per person ✅
Good idea Mr Macau. I often used an "airport van" service in Phoenix, AZ, USA that was cheaper than taxis with several passengers going different places. They went out of business the last couple of years I was there. Not sure if it is a bad business model or management.
Hi, san po pwede makasakay sa mini bus from airport?

Rod, can you give us more info about the Ayala mall shuttle service to and from the airport? How much and how do we book it? Keep up the good work. Very informative.
I will do that John. There is a sign at one of the entrances and I will put up a video with the details soon.

Thanks Mark!
Yes I've taken that bus to the north port terminal and the south port terminal
Cheap.
Does the international airport in Cebu have direct flights to the USA?
I had read they were planning direct flights from LAX and San Fran but not sure if they are operational yet by Philippine Airlines Lee.
Thanks Rod
They had a flight to LAX before Covid, but it was never brought back.
Beautiful...👍 Hope they don't allowed vendors all over the place like palengke 😂
It looked pretty clean and organised ebernabe.

The reason they want cash, you may forget about your deposit? Thank you for the tip ?
Interesting! Thanks Johnny.
You traveling somewhere?
No, I picked up a subscriber who has a disability and agreed to help him get settled here.

If you're going to the north port or the south port take that big city bus. It's cheap.
How much taxi from Mactan airport to Liloan Port?
Liloan port on the south end of Cebu might cost you 4-5K pesos. You might find less.
Thanks
