- Had this deer come from behind me and pass on the hard side of the tree. Was in a bind trying to shoot around the camera, and had to squat down to shoot through a hole. Slow motion footage at the end clearly shows I had a deflection.

Chris, its a treat to be able to watch your videos. You do a fantastic job! Way to go! 7 tradbow kills in 8 sits is absolutely unreal! So many little things come into play in that. Just like this hunt, it sounds like you were in a bind but you found a way to make it happen...that's the difference in being a pure killer and a deer hunter. Keep em coming. I've been involved one way or the other in archery for over 45 years. You or by far the best traditional shot I've ever seen. Enjoy how you break down your hunts on the video so a person understands what you did or what you were thinking when you made the shot. Glad I stumbled across your videos and subscribe. You're my favorite channel. I admire you so much for your honest approach and easy going manner. What poundage is your bow? I am trying to decide between the TreeShark or TigerShark. I will be shooting a 50lb recurve and pulling 50lb.

Dude, you gotta tell me how your doing this? I'm used to 20 yard shots with a compound, but I'm switching to a recurve, how are you getting so close? Are you hunting the actual oak their coming to? And how are they not smelling you since your so close? How high are you hunting?
I would say it deflected off a limb...but still bagged & tagged it!
