I love this channel. 💖✨️
U-uuuh! I love Beef Wellington!😋😋😋🙆🏻♀️
I only made it once and then I couldn't afford it anymore. It is good.
I make my deviled eggs by adding a spoonful of horseradish to the egg yolk mixture and sprinkling nutmeg over the finished eggs. Everyone loves them, and whenever I am invited to a party, I am asked to bring some.
Nutmeg wow. Interesting I love the horseradish idea!
Tuna noodle casserole for dinner tonight? I've already made plans to eat at a friends instead.
My family still has tuna noodle at least once a month, but not as a casserole anymore. Back in the 70s, we made it as a casserole, but by the time the 80s came along, we had stopped putting crunchy stuff on top and stopped baking it as well, as it just took too long.
My aunt used to make the best chicken divan ever👍❤
The liquer, Kirsch, went into the cheese fondue. There was a risqué element to cheese fondue, as the rule went if the dipper dropped what they're dipping in the cheese, they had to kiss all of the guests, men kissed women, & vice versa
Beef Wellington - an upmarket steak pie!
Born in 1964, I never heard of veal oscar, lol. This is a great channel.
I just had tuna casserole and its still my favorite. So good and adding hot sauce or sour cream to it just hits different
Last year I finally put crushed potato chips on top and baked it for a few minutes, told difference to the humble tuna noodle casserole
@@Jacqueline-l3w It's delicious! The potato chips are the best part
11:10 for beef stroganoff sauce I use heavy fresh cream and saffron instead of sour cream and shoestring potatoes 😋😋
9:00 stuffed bell pepper and use (fresh garlic and yogurt) sauce on the side with a sprinkle of dried tarragon will be yummy
Beef Wellington is in no way has gone away! I make it once a month! And it is still one of the most popular menu items found at most upscale restaurants! And thanks to Gordon Ramsey and Hell’s Kitchen most Americans think of it as a menu item that is still popular and in now going away. Steak Au Poive or Steak Diane could easily be added to this list in the place of Beef Wellington!
I would love to try Beef Wellington
I love eggplant Parmesan but for it to be good I need the eggplant to be thin and crispy breaded.
No need for anyone to ask for Swedish Meatballs to return in the US since they can still be gotten.
You forgot about Shepherd's Pie.
The operative word is baked as in the oven
You really think that something as basic as stuffed peppers don’t exist anymore?? 😵💫
Is it still possible to get veal cutlets?
There was curry powder in the sauce for chicken divan
Only if your Mom knew what it was 😅
Curry? I love curry but not in chicken divan. I used to always order chicken divan crepes at The Magic Pan. Wish they were still in business!
The only thing famous about Jell-O Salad is how derided that stuff is compared to nearly any other human food. Also, that stuff predates the 70s.
Tinned tuna is a sin against all the culinary gods, and should be outlawed.
Tuna noodle casserole is nasty. I can't believe it ever existed. It should have always been chicken noodle casserole. Canned chicken instead of tuna would make it actually tasty.
I didn't like tuna noodle casserole, because it was made with cream of mushroom soup & peas, which I didn't care for at the time. Since I was raised Catholic, before Vatican II, Fridays were meatless, so this abomination was on the menu at my house
I loved Moms tuna casserole. To each his own
Yuckola. Canned chicken. 🤢It’s as revolting to me as tuna is to you. As someone here wisely said “to each his own.”
You clearly did not make it correctly
I still eat it and I love it. Tuna cans are smaller now so you have to use two cans or one large one.
I,just,said,”,no”,to,jello,salads
Too many trite foodie adjectives.
No one wants tuna casserole. :( BLECH
