- Farmhouse renovation again in the Everyday Château. With the fall harvest in, we need major CREATIVE FOOD STORAGE! So.... we got a New Air Wine Fridge AND built a DIY FRIDGE that I lined with faux French tile. Because... French tile:) CLICK SHOW MORE!
Season 2, Episode XXI of Everyday Château is going strong with more farmhouse renovation. We've got six children and I leave the island just once a month to shop for food. That means we jam-pack two old fridges and food always ends up going rotten when left in the back of the fridge. Out of sight, out of mind:) . So.... Using a Cool Bot, used air conditioner, and a thrifted door, hubs built a walk-in cooler for me! To make it even more inspiring I got beautiful faux-French tile wallpaper from Saints Decor and More and we knocked it OUT of the park. For savvy storage of our two bicycles, we used BikeNook rack as a storage solution to free up space in our garage.

And with the Holiday's approaching, I'm SUPER happy about my new NewAir 24" Wine and Beverage Fridge. It's about the swankiest appliance I've ever owned! My kids are obsessed with the blue light and I'm obsessed with being able to lock the door so they can't drink my Pellegrino!

I worked as a chef in a restaurant when I was younger and I LOVE the idea of a walk in cooler. I'm concerned about the glass door though.. also love that you decorated inside! So pretty
ashley michelle for more than half the year the garage is cold itself. Nonetheless, the cool bot will keep the cooler 37-40 degrees/). The door only offers slight air escape but it’s sealed with foam spray and rubber all over the inside door jam.
@@ParisienneFarmgirl You'll be losing temp in the warmer months that's what everyone is saying. Maybe an insulated curtain and some plastic on the glass during that time. You'd be surprised how quickly electric going all the time adds to that dreaded bill every month.

We have two cool bots and they are awesome! One is mounted in a commercially built cold room and the other is in an insulated wood framed cooler like yours. We recently replaced the wood door with a metal one because it unfortunately swelled in the summer.

I have to be a detail person… haha! The tiles are Dutch, not French! Windmills, people on ice skates and the botes have flags with horizontale lines (the French flag has vertical lines) They are Delfts blue, where they made a lot of blue painted beautiful stuf, and where Vermeer lived and pinted. I just fount jour channel and I love all of it! Live from the Netherlands (land of the blue tiles)

Beautiful paper/vinyl, How is is holding up? Wallpaper tip: always overlap the corners bc walls are never straight.
