Confession: I like binge watching your videos on my day off work with a cup of coffee and something sinfully sweet for brunch. This has been my ritual lol at least once a week.
You can do it. I learned how to replace the ripped cane on two dining room chairs from watching several videos on UA-cam. I used a steamer to help loosen up the old glue as suggested by one female UA-camr. You probably have most of the tools you need. We had the stain custom mixed at the paint store and voila.
I absolutely love this episode. You got it going on. So perf. Inspires me. It's depressing here west coast cali. I can't sit in my garden. I can't antique shop. So this video fulfills me. Thank you.
You are such an inspiration Ange!! Your tastes are exquisite. The treasures you bring home are true classics........ they will never go out of fashion!! Being a Brit, I love that you gave a nod to the Cotswolds & that you have found your favourite door canopy on one of our cottages. Many visitors to the UK head mostly to London or Edinburgh to see the touristy sites, without realising that by far, the most beautiful part of the island is The Cotswolds. Our prettiest city is Bath, which is on the cusp of the Cotswolds so, if you ever want to see the very prettiest villages (No. 1 being Bourton on the Water) and cottages that look like paintings off a vintage chocolate box or biscuit tin, then look no further, you won't be disappointed. 0 Ditto for Bath. Huge chunks of this very 'Ye Olde England' city, date back to Roman times, with lots of the prettiest architecture on the still standing buildings, on show along the narrow, Harry Potteresque streets. The quaintest little pubs adorned with flowers, have ornate beer gardens that back onto the river, where you can watch the barges & river boats drift by. I know you are a true lover of Shakespeare & I don't know if you've ever visited his birthplace in Stratford-upon-Avon, but I honestly wouldn't recommend the town itself as it is very modern, with just a handful of thatched Tudors peppered here & there. I was sorely disappointed & would never return in spite of it being less than a 2 hr drive from my house. In S. Wales (my Celtic land) the prettiest town with a huge WOW factor, is a fishing harbour named Tenby. Rows & rows of brightly painted cottages line the cobbled streets that slope down to the cliff edges, sea wall & the harbour itself. If you Google 'Photos of Tenby, Pembs' its stunning!! I'm hoping you might see some other little architectural trinkets for your home amongst all the photos. ❤️🏡🤞😍 Things you can adapt and put your own stamp on. You guys definitely have the magic touch! 👀❤️💜. Good luck Ange. 🍀🌺🍀
I’m from Liverpool my husband is from S Wales but lived in Bath when he was young ,his brothers still live around Bath and Bristol,.l agree Bath is a lovely city you forgot to mention Jane Austin used to visit there in the season ,We live in Florida now and next time we’re in England l want to stay in a B and B in the Cotswolds,l live watching Angela’s videos as they give me my Brit fix as her decor is similar to British decor
@@sandraford4235 Ohhh, your hubby is so lucky to have lived in Bath. I remember the very first time I visited there years ago and couldn't believe how beautiful and steeped in history it is. I love antique everything and the amount of antique shops they have there was bliss. Even the charity/thrift shops are incredible due to the amount of wealth there is in the area. One I went into was like a small scale department store with amazing finds!! My car was packed after the 5 days I spent in the city!!! I also went touring around the Cotswolds. It was magical AND IT DIDN'T RAIN ONCE!! 😂 😂

Oh my, that oval window had me drooling, that is just the most Beautiful thing I've ever seen, and, I would leave it just how it is, the worn look at the cross area of the metal kinda looked like flowers in the video. Don't ya just LOVE when you buy something an yrs later, or you get home an it's the perfect fit or match, Love when that happens, your copper sink is Fabulous.
Love all of your beautiful finds! As an Interior Designer I simply LOVE mixing old with new... the stories and unique air about each piece brings elements you simply can not recreate with new.
This was a pleasure to watch... I loved the opportunity to see your bedroom.. the way you draped the windows with fabric and fabric behind the bed.. if possible.. if you could sometime show how you use fabric on the windows and behind the bed... I would love to see it..
The piece that REALLY caught my eye was the bust that stood next to you when you were modeling the trench coat. That is a wonderful piece. jealous, jealous, jealous!!!

I love absolutely everything, but my very favorite is the little black hat!! You are exquisitely beautiful in that-- it makes your eyes so, so dramatic! I’ve gotten rid of so many of my little treasures as we’re preparing to move from Pennsylvania to Arizona, but I told my husband that I will be on the lookout for more vintage and antique lovelies when we get into our house! 😘
