You can do it. I learned how to replace the ripped cane on two dining room chairs from watching several videos on UA-cam. I used a steamer to help loosen up the old glue as suggested by one female UA-camr. You probably have most of the tools you need. We had the stain custom mixed at the paint store and voila.
Confession: I like binge watching your videos on my day off work with a cup of coffee and something sinfully sweet for brunch. This has been my ritual lol at least once a week.
Your delight in the simplicity of these treasures is infectious! Thank you!
I absolutely love this episode. You got it going on. So perf. Inspires me. It's depressing here west coast cali. I can't sit in my garden. I can't antique shop. So this video fulfills me. Thank you.
Why not? We’re free people...go do what you want to do.
@@swisschalet1658 because business's are closing and people are losing their shit.
@@patriot98300 why can’t you sit in your garden?
@@swisschalet1658 I still do that. It is cold. I had a heater installed. I do that. It's just winter is settling in and it's very cold. That's all.
That tiny sink would make an awesome outdoor water fountain.
I wish I could love this comment! Such a beautiful idea.
I have watched this video so many times! I would LOVE to see another video of any new treasures you have found.
You'll LOVE one we have coming up soon!
New sub here. Love your style! I'm so tired of all the generic, looking alike styles from the big box stores. Keep up the great work!!
The green runner is absolutely gorgeous.
You are such an inspiration Ange!! Your tastes are exquisite. The treasures you bring home are true classics........ they will never go out of fashion!! Being a Brit, I love that you gave a nod to the Cotswolds & that you have found your favourite door canopy on one of our cottages. Many visitors to the UK head mostly to London or Edinburgh to see the touristy sites, without realising that by far, the most beautiful part of the island is The Cotswolds. Our prettiest city is Bath, which is on the cusp of the Cotswolds so, if you ever want to see the very prettiest villages (No. 1 being Bourton on the Water) and cottages that look like paintings off a vintage chocolate box or biscuit tin, then look no further, you won't be disappointed. 0
Ditto for Bath. Huge chunks of this very 'Ye Olde England' city, date back to Roman times, with lots of the prettiest architecture on the still standing buildings, on show along the narrow, Harry Potteresque streets. The quaintest little pubs adorned with flowers, have ornate beer gardens that back onto the river, where you can watch the barges & river boats drift by.
I know you are a true lover of Shakespeare & I don't know if you've ever visited his birthplace in Stratford-upon-Avon, but I honestly wouldn't recommend the town itself as it is very modern, with just a handful of thatched Tudors peppered here & there. I was sorely disappointed & would never return in spite of it being less than a 2 hr drive from my house.
In S. Wales (my Celtic land) the prettiest town with a huge WOW factor, is a fishing harbour named Tenby. Rows & rows of brightly painted cottages line the cobbled streets that slope down to the cliff edges, sea wall & the harbour itself. If you Google 'Photos of Tenby, Pembs' its stunning!! I'm hoping you might see some other little architectural trinkets for your home amongst all the photos. ❤️🏡🤞😍 Things you can adapt and put your own stamp on. You guys definitely have the magic touch! 👀❤️💜. Good luck Ange. 🍀🌺🍀
I’m from Liverpool my husband is from S Wales but lived in Bath when he was young ,his brothers still live around Bath and Bristol,.l agree Bath is a lovely city you forgot to mention Jane Austin used to visit there in the season ,We live in Florida now and next time we’re in England l want to stay in a B and B in the Cotswolds,l live watching Angela’s videos as they give me my Brit fix as her decor is similar to British decor
@@sandraford4235 Ohhh, your hubby is so lucky to have lived in Bath. I remember the very first time I visited there years ago and couldn't believe how beautiful and steeped in history it is. I love antique everything and the amount of antique shops they have there was bliss. Even the charity/thrift shops are incredible due to the amount of wealth there is in the area. One I went into was like a small scale department store with amazing finds!! My car was packed after the 5 days I spent in the city!!! I also went touring around the Cotswolds. It was magical AND IT DIDN'T RAIN ONCE!! 😂 😂
Jaylyn sounds like you had a great time lm sure we will do too when we go for a visit ,incidentally my husbands from Aberbeeg
@@sandraford4235 I'm certain you will have a great time when you come back. I've never been to Aberbeeg/Abertillery, I've never been to Liverpool or Florida either come to that!! I'm from further west, near Swansea, right on the coast.
Going back through your old videos for inspiration and joy!😀Please do more thrifting treasures and finds! You are a blessing.

Finally a vlog I can relate to, original and gorgeous.
Oh fabulous!!
I'm enjoying her too.
Sooo so beautiful, absolutely love!!!
This was a pleasure to watch... I loved the opportunity to see your bedroom.. the way you draped the windows with fabric and fabric behind the bed.. if possible.. if you could sometime show how you use fabric on the windows and behind the bed... I would love to see it..
Love all the layers of beauty in your home! Very classy & beautiful!
We live in a tourist area too. Ahh the tourists are leaving indeed and we get our beautiful area back in the best month of all, September!! Loving mixing up all my old finds and new old finds too!! 😉
Oh my, that oval window had me drooling, that is just the most Beautiful thing I've ever seen, and, I would leave it just how it is, the worn look at the cross area of the metal kinda looked like flowers in the video. Don't ya just LOVE when you buy something an yrs later, or you get home an it's the perfect fit or match, Love when that happens, your copper sink is Fabulous.
Love all of your beautiful finds! As an Interior Designer I simply LOVE mixing old with new... the stories and unique air about each piece brings elements you simply can not recreate with new.
That was so great. Do please do more like these when you go on another shopping trip. Loved all your items and hearing the price really added to the interest.

Can’t wait I always look forward to your videos. I have leaned so much from all the information you put out regarding beautiful home decor, gardening and just being motivated.
I put away several of the new items I had bought at Home Goods. I brought out a lot of my mothers beautiful old pictures, velvet curtains and vintage items she left me. Thank you for reminding me how much more beautiful those things are then the new mass produced items. Will be looking forward to your video.

Love, love this kind of video, your style is similar to mine. I enjoy thrifting and repurposing too. Fun video, you look marvelous!
You could slip that small sink in your green house: that last picture with the Gothic frame is a great deal!!
Love this video!!!
Ah Chère, you rock that chapeau! I love hats, I even made some for a tea room business I never got off the ground. And don't get me started on upholstery, I've redone many pieces for my home, I'd love to learn how to weave cane and other woods for baskets. Great finds!💕 That sweet sink could go in the washroom at Patisserie Amelie❣
OMGOsh. GREAT idea about the sink. I collect tin chocolate boxes for someday but never thought to start gathering stuff for PA
@@ParisienneFarmgirl glad to help. I have a chest of drawers stuffed with cups and saucers, and tea pots are stashed in other nooks and crannies in cabinets here and there with other accoutrements for my Tea House dream that I've been hoarding for... oh...15? 20 yrs.? Lord only knows if that will ever come to be, but I'll be ready if it ever does!😉

Beautiful finds and such great prices! Makes me want to come thrifting in Sister Bay all the way from FL. LOL!
I love absolutely everything, but my very favorite is the little black hat!! You are exquisitely beautiful in that-- it makes your eyes so, so dramatic! I’ve gotten rid of so many of my little treasures as we’re preparing to move from Pennsylvania to Arizona, but I told my husband that I will be on the lookout for more vintage and antique lovelies when we get into our house! 😘
So inspiring.
