This recipe is awsome. As I figure it out that on 4 eggs goes 400 gr of yogurt, I've made it with 5 eggs and 500gr of skyr protein yogurt and added 50gr spelt flour and 5gr tapioca starch, also I've used 125gr blueberries and 100gr strawberrys, baked less than 50min in a round 25cm pan. @@waffle_chair9269 Its -no added sugar - which is better . The banana idea is good, and also When I make this I half the blueberry yogurt with plain yogurt and add vanilla ex. That cuts half the sugar , which is minimal anyways if you get the right yogurt. Lucerne light has the same amt of added sugar as an average microwave meal , even less I think 👍

This reminds me of a custard-ish. I used my convection oven and put the temp at 350F and it dropped temp down to 325F. (I also live in high altitude) I cooked it for about 1hr 15min. I used a 12in springform cake pan. That was all I had. (I think I would like it better with a smaller pan. Thicker.) I mixed my eggs first, then added my dairy free yogurt (unsweetened coconut). I did as someone suggested with dusting blueberries in corn starch. I added about 2-3 teaspoons of monk fruit for sweetness. I also added about 3T of lemon juice and some lemon zest. Turned out great and yummy!
Just loved this, have made it 3 times. Made it with thick soy kefir instead of yogurt, and egg replacer. 1st one was just blueberry second one was strawberry which I added juice of half lemon to make it a little like cheese cake and the third one was caramelised apple and blueberry with coconut sugar sprinkled on top when it was cooked it looked like crème brûlée. It❤was delicious 🤤 served with thick coconut nut cream. Thanks so much for your video. It’s one of the best and easiest desserts ever!
I made this recipe using ramekins. It was easy & delicious! I used unsweetened yogurt & did not add sugar as I'm reducing my sugar intake. I added almond extract & lemon extract. You could add erythritol/stevia for sweetness and glucomannon powder as a corn starch substitute! They have zero carbs so it'll help with the sugar intake!! It should come out just like this!!

This came out well. Halved the recipe and baked it at 155 degrees for 30 min in my airfryer. Used plain yoghurt with some sugar and added vanilla essence. Will try it with vanilla flavored yoghurt next time.

I’m going to try to make a keto version of this by substituting arrowroot powder for the cornstarch. It looks delicious! Would be good with other berries also. I’ll also use unsweetened yogurt and one of the keto-friendly sugar substitutes. And vanilla.

I strongly suggest white mulberry powder as sugar alternative. Berrilys does them. They are great for baking and desserts. The only downside is, it doesn't dissolve in water. So they are only good for baking and you need to break the clumps before use.
I'm going to try it with stevia and cornstarch almond and a little lemon zest folded in. I'll keep you posted and thank you.... I like aromatic recipes and am so psyched to see if I can accommodate myself with sugar free.

I tried making this cake, I used vanilla sweetened yogurt, vanilla essence and 2 tbsp honey.. the cake looked great, but for people who have sweet tooth, this cake will not hit the spot. Its not sweet enough. I will probably recommend people to use condensed milk rather than sugar if you like a proper sweet cake, as sugar will be difficult to melt. So 300 yogurt and 100 condensed milk. This recipe is best for people who prefer their cakes less sweet. otherwise you will need to improvise and add condensed milk for a good tasting cake. Also ensure that the berries are sweet
@@michellev2630 It was great! Although, I gave it a little twist to it cause I used vanilla yogurt and I like the mix of vanilla, lemon zest and the berries. I finely dusted it with powder sugar (just to create a bit of contrast) with the fresh berries for topping. Try it! 😘

I only eat grass fed full fat Greek yogurt, unsweetened. So how much stevia/maple syrup wouid I need to use?

I tried making this cake, I used vanilla sweetened yogurt, vanilla essence and 2 tbsp honey.. the cake looked great, but for people who have sweet tooth, this cake will not hit the spot. Its not sweet enough. I will probably recommend people to use condensed milk rather than sugar if you like a proper sweet cake, as sugar will be difficult to melt. So 300 yogurt and 100 condensed milk. This recipe is best for people who prefer their cakes less sweet. otherwise you will need to improvise and add condensed milk for a good tasting cake. Also ensure that the berries are sweet

@@michellev2630 It was great! Although, I gave it a little twist to it cause I used vanilla yogurt and I like the mix of vanilla, lemon zest and the berries. I finely dusted it with powder sugar (just to create a bit of contrast) with the fresh berries for topping. Try it! 😘

I buy cornstarch at Aldi and always set some aside in a shaker container to use as body powder.
