Such nice presentation... Covering the software outputs in lucid manner with relating basics from strength of material... Not a garbage input anymore neither a garbage output... Now these data are not any thousands of data, these are having really predictable behaviour. Thank you.
Sir you are taking up the important topics in structural analysis.I wish you make many such videos on important topic such as seismic and wind analysis for high rise structure.Thanking you.
One thing I would like to ask you, for industrial steel structures, the column positions are very much restricted or fixed, however there is a lot of mass variation... Like three or four silos(in regular pattern) each of 2500T are functioning such that minimum one slio can be full and maximum all... In that case how to control the torsional mode.
Dear All, I am pleased to announce the course as mentioned in tutorial 10. The course will cover all the topics mentioned in the video through a series of lectures. Live lectures will be delivered every Saturday for 1 hour between 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm ( 10 lectures). Video link of recorded training will also be shared in next 2-3 days after the lectures. Q&A session will be conducted in the 10th lecture. A certificate will be issued on completion of the course. Fees for this cource will be INR 20000/-. +3600/- GST. ( Total fees INR 23600/-) Fees to be deposited in advance in bank account as mentioned below : Manmohan Maniyar ICICI current bank account No. 001905004904 IFSC Code ICIC0000019 Please email details of bank transfer to man.maniyar@gmail.com First lecture will start on 11 September 2021.
Sir your content is fantastic but please make the videos using share screen options so that we can observe more closely what you're doing on the screen. Looking at the tv screen in the video is makes it very tedious to figure out what's going on if the internet speed is low.
Sir, is it necessary to maintain difference in time period by 10% atleast while removing torsional irregularity..If not then what’s d max % difference between 2nd nd 3rd mode time period if my structure undergoes in torsion under 3rd mode?
Very good tutorial sir, can you please share your views for symmetrical building (zero eccentricity in both principle direction) having torsional mode in first two mode. And please guide how to resolve the same. Thank you in advance...!
To push torsion to third mode .. 1. Check eccentricity between COR and COM 2. Try configuring stiffnesses such that eccentricity reduces 3. Some times even though you manage above point, the stiffness configuration is such that building is more stiff translationally, in such situation... a) Increase peripheral stiffnesses b) Reduce translational stiffnesses near COR c) L shaped walls at corners improve torsional stiffness (Even small legs also improve torsional stiffness) d) Delink shear walls near COR e) Link peripheral walls f) Try to increase core perimeter g) Link core walls with strong link beams h) For taller buildings, sometimes out-triggers help to reduce torsion.... Depends case to case.....
Sir I have designed symmetrical building of 6 story for Assam and I checked COM and COR is almost coinciding at every floor but still I got torsional mode in 1st mode. Please give me suggestion
THIS KIND OF CONTENTS ARE VERY RARE TO FIND IN UA-cam. THANK YOU SIR FOR ALL THE VIDEOS.
Amazing. I have searched the whole youtube for lectures of this quality, but could only find this. Thanks a lot Sir for sharing your knowledge.

Very Informative... Thank you....
Thanks a lot for sharing such valuable information

Yes I will

Sir your screen is not properly visible clearly..but your content is useful
Thank you sir 👍
Most welcome
sir, the cost of foundation will add up in introduction of additional shear walls..?

Ok sirji, will do and let you know if any query, Thanks. 👍
You should use mic 🎤, it will improve the sound quality. Its noisy now.

Please share the typical floor layout, let's look for some solution...
