It's amazing how much years you can take off of an old vehicle by putting these new headlights on them.
Purchased em year and half ago for my 95 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited 5.2 V8, and I must say it's impressive on the vehicle and light's still work that came with the application.. But the only down fall is the manufacturer didn't layer them with enough clear coat. It kinda faded fast. Non of the less. Still a great head light's.
The HALO's SUCK they keep going OUT I've tried to have them replaced but NO-ONE would ever get back to me. Other than that there better than my stock lights '94 ZJ. They need to be made with a ring of 1w or more led's to be seen & used as DRL's.
I’ve been looking into lights for a 1998 5.9 I’m working on. All the adds say 93-98 which was the ZJ run …I go onto the different sites (quite a few so far)then they all stop at 96-97. they all look the same from the outside what am I missing ? MOPAR2YA
If you are planning on any driving off road, even moderate use, these are not your head light. Cheap plastic brackets break, beams will not hold adjustment, light wiring inside the housing falls in front of the beam casting a shadow. Absolute garbage. Maybe for a show vehicle but not for a Jeep.
Micheal Alexander glad you said this. I was just about to order these. You have any suggestions on something similar that will hold up better?
These look great but perform like garbage. The waterproof sealing failed less than 2 weeks in and the entire unit mounts on the 3 adjuster posts without any bolts and screws to secure it. If your Jeep is a pavement queen, buy a set and silicone them up but if you off-road at all, good luck keeping them securely mounted and adjusted.
You should use higher quality plastic making those. As awesome as they look, after about a year they wont look as awesome anymore because the clear plastic starts peeling, and after it peels all the way (which takes few months, and it looks kinda bad when it starts) the lens becomes matte. And no its not just one faulty headlight or two. I have bought 3 sets from you guys, and every single one behaves the same way... Those are toys, those are not a worthy replacements for the factory setup which will last you entire life of the car. Period. So if you want your car to look nice for about a year go for it...
could you put like a 3m clear film on the lights to prevent that from happening ?
Just got these in today. Put them in and they are great! Getting the light to catch on perfectly to that adjustable screw (2:09)was a trick, but my buddy gave me a hand and all is well. Of note: these are totally "push-in".....not sure how they will stand up to the old screw mounted OEM lights. Will update later.
How well were these lights? its been 4 years since your post.
johnny noche I have since bought yet another pair. I guess my biggest gripe would be that the halo or angel eyes go out rather quick. It happened on the first pair, now happening on the second. Customer support never answered back when I mentioned this issue.......so I do not recommend.
Yes these do come with high and low beam bulbs, Yes they are replaceable, they are either H1 or H3. Yes you can do HID's with this setup.
Are these discontinued
can you upgrade the halogen bulbs to led bulbs in these headlights?
2:42 minutes 3 connectors appear and 2:57 minutes it appears another is connected to the new lights, the question is, from where the fourth connector?
It is tucked into a hole. It is for the side marker.
I need to see how it lights up at night!
At 1:52 another fucking connector appears from nowhere.
@Specdtuninginfo I can imagine these on my 1998 Grand Cherokee 5.9 Limited I'm getting pretty soon. OOIIIIIIIOO
I have these on my jeep and very happy that i got them. They work great. Is there any way to make the halos brighter? And what bulbs do the halos use?
Got them already, looking nice. :)
We do not recommended you put HID's on them, but yes you can put them on at your own risk though. and with the issue with the bulb please contact our customer service they will be happy to assist you with that. k2motor.com
Please contact the vendor who you purchased it from. Sorry we do not know what a friction rod is.
no you shouldnt have too because there are not any screws attached with the corner light.
Friend, I have a Jeep Grand Cherokee 98 identical to your footage, so I would like to buy the pair of headlights, which of three pieces was in a single incrível incredible work yours!
You power the halos from the side marker light
SO HOW MUCH THESE SPEC-D NEW HEAD LIGHTS COST NOW.... OUT THER DOOR N SHIPPED TO ME HERE IN OHIO MY ZIP CODE IS 43055..... LET ME KNOW PLZZZZ
I wish the quality of the projector itself was better. I just ordered the standard spec-d reflector lens and a set of projector retrofit. A buddy of mine had purchased the spec-d project set in this video and was very dissatisfied with the light output, even after adding HID’s they were very disappointing.
How can i purchase the lights
There are mounting screws that attach to the light that is attached to front bulkhead. That should keep your headlight in place
Hi, i'm Marcus from Brazil.
I would like know where i can buy this ligths.
I'd like buy by internet and send me by fedex.
Thank you.
when using this housing do we have to add or change out any of the wiring? and do we use the same exact bulbs as before, I am thinking of getting them for my 94 grand Cherokee.
These halo bulbs are proprietary so you will not be able to actually replace the bulbs. But you can give customer service a call and see what they can do for you or if they know of anywhere that sells these halo bulbs.
Cuanto salen y donde
Can you give me more information on the projectors used? What is the manufacturer of the projectors? Do you have any pictures of them disassembled?
I have a question, I am seriously thinking about ordering theese, I'm just curious about the high and low beam bulbs, are they replaceable? And dose the kit come with them? And can I install hids with this setup? Thanks for your time!
My jeep ZJ have the h4 lights. How can I mount your system?
greetings from Mexico
Can you tell me where to buy those lights?
A white wire that has chrome on one end, what is this for?
Just purchased a pair of theses headlights that have a sticker that reads you cannot put HID bulbs in them, am i able to or not. I also had another problem where when i turned the headlights on one of them was not working and the other one would keep turning on and off. If i hit it with my hand it would turn back on.
@kevinmold1 These projector headlights can be purchased on various sites online as well as ebay!
Cant find them in stock anywhere
I beg to differ. Got mine in the mail yesterday and it says specifically on a sticker on the top of the headlights "WARNING: HID NOT ALLOWED". They don't even fit right either. I need extra weather stripping to fill in gaps that weren't there with the stock headlights.
If you can put HID's in, I'm confused at how it would work. If the factory bulb is 9004 and the low beam on this unit is H3? With HID you have to tap into factory wire. That's means I'd have to order h3 HID kit but it wouldn't plug into factory 9004 connection right? Plz help me!!
Juan Rivera
how do the headlights stay in mine are just held in with one cheap little fastener so they move and pop out when i drive and i followed the video exactly
which head light would I put a h,i,d inside of?
You actually can't do an hid set up with these I tried I had them until my wife hit a fire hydrant and you cannot do hids in them I went all over an and nobody would put hiss in them as the price of the conversion and rewiring isn't worth it
No BRASIL nos chamamos isso de xuning ou bahianagem...
I live in Colombia and I want to buy these lights for my Jeep, how do I get them?
the friction rods that hold in the headlights, do you need to move them mine don't reach them by an inch

enrique lomas Yes we have a retailer that sells all our headlights. You can find them online at www.k2motor.com/
Spec D Tuning sorry but in the page I can´t find the dealer here in monterrey mexico...can you help me??? just tell me the name ,direccion or somethng.... I dont like to buy on line...bad experiences in the past ;)
enrique lomas Unfortunately, at this time we do not have a retailer that we know of in Mexico. The only way for you to purchase these headlights would be ordering via eBay and having them shipped to your country. I am sorry about the inconvenience this may cause, but we are a US based company that has all our products shipped to the customers homes.
how do you power the halos?
Как заказать ТАКИЕ?
Does this also apply with Laredo models?

@@Specdtuninginfo cant find them in stock anywhere. Where can I find them?
headlamp to jeep 4x6??
These do not work for a 97 or 98 Grand Cherokee - the area behind the headlights is not flat and they do not fit. Suggest you change your advertising! I have to return mine.
+Randall S Your header panel needs to have the headlamp leveling device hole. Some may have been changed by the previous owner, but the headlights will fit if your vehicles header panel come with the headlamp leveling device hole.
I have them on my 97 zj and they fit instead of adjusting the one screw so 4 threads are showing I had to leave 8 threads
Does not work on my 98 5.9 limited ZJ. The parking light that uses the larger Amber light is a different connection. It only has 2 lugs on sides and these lights require 3. I looked at another 98 that had the 4.0L and it has the same 2 prong connection as mine. Guess these headlights are made for 97-98 as advertised.
+Jeff Byman I had to change the plug style
