Jeep Grand Cherokee ZJ headlight replacement

replacing the headlights in a 1994 Jeep Grand Cherokee ZJ limited, european version with the manually adjustable headlights.
also showing the removal of the sidemarkers and turn signal lights as well as showing how to adjust the headlights.
a very simple fix when your headlights are broken or faded, which was both the case here.
just footage with short written explanations and some music.

I’ve been working on my cars and trucks for years but this is my first Jeep (‘95 Grand Cherokee 4x4) and I didn’t easily see how to disassemble, I guess
“it’s a Jeep thing, and I wouldn’t understand” lol

sur mon 2.5TD ZJ je n ai pas eu besoin de démonter le clignotant. Il m a suffit de tirer (fort) sur le phare qui est juste emboité🙂

Hello, Anyway you can tell me the screw sizes in the marker lights and or the turn signals? Even if you could tell me the diameter, or screw number. Probably #6 #8 #10? The Jeep was changed over to an aftermarket headlight assembly and I am trying to get some Eagle factory style ones back in. I don't have the old screws for any of it. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Hi there, sorry for the late reply. To be honest, I have no idea what the original size of those screws would be. On my Jeep, I have had to replace them all with bigger screws (that I had just lying around the house) in order to get them to sit tight, because all the holes are so worn out. I hope you have found what you were looking for in the meantime :)

@@steinfeld.motors Yeah, I bought a couple different sizes at Fleet Farm and got them to work fine. I believe I used 1 1/2" and 1/2" #8 sheet metal screws. Worked just fine. Thanks for the reply.

Where'd you find those dust cap things for the light bulbs 1:21?

They were already in there when I got the Jeep..

I think they are specific to the European models that use H4/9003 headlight bulbs.
