I was on the edge of my seat too... then flying over the edge of the handlebars then the edge of the road. An ice cold beer at midnight never tasted so good in my life!
Good attitude Al, tough rides to says the least, I know the area it’s cold and mountainous, with rain I can’t imagine, a fellow biker disappeared in that zone DR 650, never to be heard of again, this was a few years ago, no trace of him or the moto. Carry at least 1 spare tube ( front that’ll suffice for front and temporary back). Try to visit Tarija in the south before crossing into Argentine, Tarija is by far the most beautiful place in Bolivia. Safe travels. Now you know, when you send a package back or give stuff away to lighten your load you’ll immediately need what you’ve sent back…ask me how I know. Safe travels.
FYI, Every little bit of help on this incredible/ amazing journey is very welcomed. Thanks for all the support! buymeacoffee.com/trippingwithal

That's some nice drone action. Glad you were able to get it workin'!
I've been pretty lazy with flying the drone. The next video has some great drone shots of the Salt Flats. Working on that vid now.
They say you're attitude determined. you'r altitude. So you got a good attitude Son, love you❤ keep on trucking.
Gracias Pops, sometimes staying postivie is the only option. Love you Buddy!

Getting better by the day. It's amazing what no exercise and drinking beer can do to heal the body!
What a episode, kept me on the edge of my seat let me tell ya.

Awesome. I really enjoyed Bolivia despite the troubles. Even more so than Peru, I think.
Cheers John! Peru is still tops for me. Currently in Chile fighting the wind everyday!

When the shit hits the fan, that's when the true adventure starts.
It's called The Death Road for a reason. The road condition on the day was pretty bad. Turning back was a good call, AL!
every now & then I manage to do the smart decision. Not too often though!
Never seennbefore a bag fir cofee...😁😁😂🤙
I've had quite a few bags of coffee on this adventure! Sometimes that all they have but when you want & need coffee in the morning, you take it.
When are you coming to Santa Cruz Bolivia?
i'm already in Chile. Maybe on the way back though?
