You and Diverse Mentality are killing the Hip Hop Documentary side of UA-cam. I considered myself knowledgeable on HipHop but I’ve been learning things from you guys. Keep up the good work. I’m excited for part 2.
Bro. This is a classic documentary. One of the best I’ve seen on UA-cam. I love the way you break down all angles. You give every perspective. You tell the positive and negative. Please keep up the great work. You have to do a death row one next
Lol just puts a tear to my eye bro. Just glad to see you Dre, doing the research and putting together such a documentary like this for the older guys to reminisce and the younger dudes to see what music was looking like during that time. It was a great time back then. You see now that the more work you put into a doc you will find yourself in that imfamous algorithm lol. Great work bro.
Yo man I watched this part twice now after just watching the 2nd part. Thank you for your hard work! This is exactly what heads need, and will remain appreciated for some time.
I thought it was hilarious because I adlibbed that hahah. But you're going to love when I talk about Philly in part 2. State Property, Beanie Sigel, Young gunz, Peedi Crakk, Freeway, etc. I even plan on talking about Major Figgaz too! Jay tried to sign them
I'm halfway through the mini doc and you've got a masterpiece here ..nobody had ever told his story in detail like this ..im loving this ..mark my words you will get the views your looking for
This was a nice trip down memory lane while learning new things. Looking forward to the next 2/3 parts. Watching this though, I’ve realized it’s extremely difficult to cover everything about RocAFella. I was looking forward to to hearing about Peedi Peedi aka Peedi Crakk, plus the rest of State Property and more Dipset. I mean, maybe in the next 2 parts, but it will be difficult. I still appreciate your content tho. Keep grinding, Homie. [x]
Thanks for the love! The reason why I didn't talk about Dipset or State Property in this episode is that this first episode is about the late '80s to 1999. State Property and Dipset both didn't even drop their debuts yet. Nobody on Dipset was on the ROC yet and I think before 2000 only Beanie, Oschino and somebody else (can't remember off of the top of my head) was signed to ROC. I've expanded the series to 4 episodes now (as I'll state in the new episode releasing probably tomorrow) The next episode will be about 2000 to 2002. I talk about Cam and State Property in it because they officially dropped their albums during them years. Come home with me, Beanie had the truth and the reason and the state property debut album
@@cloutcancun OH SNAP!!! 4 parts now. Damn, dawg. You too good to us. I’m rooting for you, Homie. I know it’s hard with being a full time student but dedication, consistency, and patience always pays off. Wish you well. Stay blessed. [x]
