The Glitter Band too have been victims of Gary's misdeeds. Today's politically correct & spineless radio execs shit themselves at the mention of the word Glitter regardless of context.
Sadly The Glitter Band have been banned from the radio airwaves along with Gary Glitter himself.It will be a very long time if ever you hear either a Gary Glitter record or even a Glitter Band record played on the radio,even Pick of the Pops and Sounds of the 70's both on Radio 2 ignores playing both Gary Glitter and the Glitter Band records.
Ridiculous that the G Band were condemned by association to GG...They were a band in their own right n parted ways long before any revelations made public.

Love the drums on this track. It wasn't the desired effect, but the bad engineering actually makes them sound really nice and punchy.
The double drum sound was incredible. I always associate it with The Glitter Band
