- Nick takes a look at a new arrival, the Duesenberg Falken! This guitar is a new arrival for us in 2022 and its slightly different to the rest of the Duesenberg family with its odd shape and different pickup setup.

Exceptional playing!
I own this one and a Starplayer Special. The Falken has 8 PU settings (2exp3), whereas the Starplayer has 9 but does not allow neck humbucker + single bridge mixed in the middle position.... They both sound amazing .... I prefer the Starplayer because the body is far more balanced and the neck does not dive. When I play with my band with the Falken, I spend my time adjusting the guitar because the guitar is not well balanced enough.
Another drawback is the lack of rest arm on the top and body cut on the back, whereas the Paloma has both.
The Falken could have been perfect, but the lack of balance and the neck dive make me prefer the Starplayer (which was discontinued in 2023 I think ...)
I hope Duesenberg will come with another design, or at least increase the comfort of the guitar and find a solution to the neck dive issue.
Great guitar, nice looking, wonderfull sounds !!!!
Falken beautiful!!!! ❤❤❤❤❤
Good quality review!
Amazing Performance, I just ordered mine but its not there yet.
I hope they deliver to BC
Thinking of getting one to play black metal with tbh.
ARE you out of your falken mind? ;oP Sounds nice. Jangly! \m/
Very nice guitar and playing, thanks Nick! What is the music at the very end?
Thanks mate! That’s one of my own songs. 🎉
Sounds beautiful. What is the name of your song?
Nice review. Did you put a strap on it and stand up to play? Did it neck dive?
i would be curious about the balance of the weight also
I own one. There is a moderate neck dive
So torn between this or the Paloma! Ugh
They call them jumbo frets, but they really aren’t.
Nice co-y of the Gretsch name! Fail
What?
I own this guitar. It’s the best clean you can get by any brand and specifically any pickups. If the name’s enough to deter you, you’re a moron and don’t deserve this.
