Creatively, they're doing some of my favorite stuff around. Norbert totally kills it on their vids.
The way you ratchet this up into metal lore is by putting together a touring ensemble and making it happen.
Tom and Baby J are hella talented. I've enjoyed - to varying degrees - both of their projects over the last several years.
To see Darko play some intimate settings in a some cities would be awesome.
All of that said, this is some of the best audio/video collaboration I've ever seen.

I think that the guys at the end are the same guys from Acid Inject. It's the same music video producer for sure. I love every Darko US song but this song was really fun in a different kind of way while still being very Darko US. I think that the clean vocals are Baby J, because he has been posting his singing on IG and I think that's amazing. He's such a talented drummer, guitarist, and now singer. Tom Barber absolutely crushes everything he does. I'm so glad he left Lorna Shore because he is absolutely crushing the CG stuff and Darko US stuff and as great as he was in Lorna Shore, something there wasn't working and even they found their place as well.

I am so into this. I don't like Chelsea grin, but I am in love with Darko. It might have been all the acid in my 20s, but this makes me actually joyous. It's heavy, it's spastic, is basically has anti grooves with how sharp they play their notes together in time. They give that jazz appetizer, a Darko meal, and that comfort desert ending. My only hope is that they make music so fucking good that I forget this exists. I think they are about to push experimental metal. This is as fresh as when I heard p2 for the first time.
I have high hopes for this album. I have a feeling it's going to be highly divisive, which will be hilarious to see metal elitists screech about. Even if it's not as good as Oni, I'm betting it'll be a fantastic album because Baby J is pushing creativity first and foremost.
