Resolve did an amazing awesome job on the album an I’m glad these guys are gaining more recognition an popularity this year the guys are so so good
Last album was goated, super worth checking out again
Don’t stress about yourself, like he says in older days “28 and still going through changes” I’m 28 and still figuring stuff about myself out too.
Move to Trash is literally just about the pains of trying to create music, hating what you just made and basically saying, "Fuck it" and deleting the whole thing. If I had to guess the [floating through the colors, same shade only brighter] part is probably talking about either the computer screen itself, the pixels, or it could be talking about all the different color coded tracks you've got going when you're working with your DAW, trying to produce something. In the breakdown he straight up burns it all to the ground, and destroys all the data, down to the last byte, lol.
Also the buildup to the breakdown, he says something along the lines of, "said farewell to my own sanity, to just stay the same hermetical creep." Which is such a creative phrase, two words I'd never think to stick next to each other, but hermetically means sealed in or airtight, something being hermetically sealed, like a container or something. He adds creep after it, and stay the same before it, which is cool flow, seems to me he's saying he's going to stay sealed indoors continually working on this stuff until he gets something he wants, otherwise it's going right in the trash again.
There's some other lines that nod to the whole situation too, like, "blood on the draft, scrolling through the sounds, nothing to tell but I'm way too proud, trying so hard scares me to even try." Him saying he's got nothing to say but even still he feels like he can't meet his own standards, he doesn't want to come off like it's forced, which makes him want to stop entirely.
Fantastic album. I keep coming back to it since a week. So fresh in the metalcore scene.
I ain't ashamed to admit it, i cried listening to continuum, the lyrics are extremely relatable to anyone capable of introspection, the vocal melodies match the somber feel of the lyrics and the music matches it perfectly, the song is literally perfect. The whole album was great, but continuum and bloodlust are the stand outs of the album i believe, then new colors as well.

Watching you feel everything on Continuum was awesome bc I reacted the same way haha
I'm not even gonna front, i cried when listening to that song. Everything about that song was mastercrafted to bring out the feels in people who are introspective.
