I'd be interested in you trying out Luxire, they have an option to send in a pair of trousers that fit you really well and they will create a pattern off of those trousers you send in. Their website is pretty low quality, but I think this is something I am going to try out once I finally get a pair of trousers that actually fit me well.

The issue I have is the following: 1) my annual event is in singapore and I will be traveling for tourism around the region, its a hot humid climate and hence my wardrobe for the annual meeting is very different to the one I will be using after; 2) that being said, i only have 1 black and 1 blue suit! and I need to save space in my luggage and Im trying to decide if I could only take 1 pair of shoes (thats why i was asking about brown shoes with a black suit); 3) Annual meetings are very harsh on the feet, I suffered last year walking in Washington, so I was thinking in buying some comfortable shoes but i do not have much options, however i was thingin in a pair of brown cole haan with a comfortable sole... what do you think! please help!

Turtlenecks and mocknecks only work on taller men. You need to have a longer neck and longer overall body to pull them off well. Also, I wouldn't wear a shawl cardigan with a button down shirt under it, as they compete and look too busy together. I'd always wear a t-shirt under it and keep it casual.
Good question. I didn't know that there were shorter sweaters. I've never seen that from a brand as an option. Personally, I do it because I have a shorter torso, so it looks more "right" on me that way. I also like that it can potentially guard against some of the bunching up that will sometimes happen. Basically, makes a cleaner look for me. Hope that helps!

Sweaters in ages past (especially in the 30s-50s) were designed to end right below the waistband, which in those days was higher on the body than today (at or above the natural waist). I notice that you roll the bottom of the sweater under to shorten the length. What is the benefit of doing that instead of buying a shorter sweater?
