Can we please get a tutorial on how to properly take care of these clothes? I take your suggestions when I go to buy clothes but I want to make sure they last awhile because some of them are expensive and I want them to last. That would be awesome to see!
Hand wash wool sweaters, shirts, etc - use a detergent made for wool. Air dry them flat. (or use a mild hair shampoo (something with moisturizing properties) and combine it with some vinegar) For your pants that are pleated with creases or jackets, use the mild hair shampoo and vinegar concoction and spot-clean your pants
Always read the care label on these garments beforehand as they usually state how to take care of them. You usually can wear them multiptle times before cleaning them (if they don't have stains on them of course). However, for knitwear I suggest Dry Cleaning your knitwear/suits/pants (made of wool/cashmere) even if they say they are machine washable, if they're within your budget. As from experience (+ helping out my family business that is a Dry cleaners) they last a lot longer.
Hey Brandon , you should make a vid about building a closet on a 500/1000/5000/10000 budget, could be a cool little series that gives insane value just an idea keep up the good work brother!
All the essentials you are suggesting right now for us this season, do make a video giving all the different outfits for different occasions including casuals too Balfour. :)
Dude it is so helpful how you provide rules of thumb/heuristics for those of us less fashion-minded guys. Makes it much easier to keep those in mind when buying stuff. I've gotten so many compliments since listening to your advice.
Kudos to you, G, an extensive review of all things, sweater, bro. Commend you on the awesome amount of work and effort it takes to film and edit a video of this magnitude. All the selection, categorizing, and wardrobe changes is mind blowing dude. You sure knocked this one out of the ball park, Brandon. Just for use!!!!!!!
Finally someone admits to wearing size small. I only buy small in everything once it has to be fitted. Even if it says “slim fit” i still buy in small. And I’m pretty muscled as you.
@ 6’2 195lbs. I’m pretty lean, but broad shoulders still. Shirts, I’ll have to buy medium to large depending on if it has stretch on them. But anything cotton, basically tshirts, polos I’ll buy in small and have it hug my arms, shoulders and can show off my flat stomach. Sometimes it’s a gamble but 9-10 times they work just fine. If it’s muscle fit I’ll go with medium but I hardly buy muscle fit..I stick to “slim fit”
I'm skinny guy. I need to buy medium. Otherwise chest don't fit. Small would fit everything else just not the chest. Especially shirts with buttons. I could bypass small button shirt if I leave top 3 buttons undone. Lmao which I don't want to do.
The editing was great in this video. Also a suggestion if your comfortable I think you should upload a vlog once and see how it does, I personally think it would be an interesting video to watch
@@BrandonBalfourbecause of this video I had to find that sweater. I got the last one J Crew had and I had to find it from their Trinidad and Tobago website. 😂
“She’s obviously going to love it too.” Haha, this is the stuff that keeps me subscribed. As always, great fits, thanks for doing the heavy lifting for us. God bless 🙏
Can you please make a black friday shopping guide to build a new wardrobe that's timeless and has essentials. No better opportunity than now to make such a video use regular income people need that type of video rn lol
I would love to see some Christmas themed outfits in a shorts video if possible! Such a fan of your content! Inspired me to finally be intentional with my outfits. 🔥
Nice to see a Luca Faloni option, they really have amazing colors and options for knitwear. Try their silk cashmere lighter options for warmer times of the year. Not cheap though, especially with our Canadian dollar these days. Good to see more down to earth options too. Nice job 👍
do a watches review or tierlist, i am a young guy who has been following your videos for a while. i truly believe that a watch can make a simple guy a true gentleman. i would love to hear more about your tissot prx and dolce vita longines
Hello, min 7:29. The black polo cárdigan that you are using have no buttons, the one that you showing from banana republic does have buttons. Could you share what brand is the black one you are using . Thank you
Can you review some of the things for tailored athlete? The have some great things that fit me super well at fair prices. Particularly their ribbed white crew neck
I have always not like cardigans and never owned one. I associated the piece with Mr. Rogers. I am not surprised he called that style "shit in your diaper cardigan". But recently I acquired four cardigans that button up all the way, which are drastically different. They are cashmere but I did not pay much for them. They work well as layering pieces in the cool climate that I live in.
Brother, I am going through your archive and have spent the past six to seven hours 😅watching the videos to make a list of things to hoard everything on black Friday. I am considering a budget of around $1200 at max for summer, fall, and winter fit.
It's expensive in the US too, but I think it gives me good inspiration on what styles there are and then I go to a resell /vintage/used clothing app and shop there second hand
Good inspiration for me at a similar height, The way you style your clothes makes you look much taller than 5,8. Just converted my weight into lbs to compare and realised im 183lbs 😂 time to lay off the weights and hit some cardio if i want clothes to look better.
@BrandonBalfour I did the same a while back but seem to hold a lot of weight in my legs, how often you getting your trousers taken up? Thing I might have to bite the bullet and start getting stuff tailored
How are you doing white linen pants and white suit supply pants without getting them ruined from stains and stuff? Would also love to see a whole video on how u wash ur clothes and keep them in good condition 🙂↕️
Do you know a brand called Frank and Oak? They have some great quality minimalistic pieces and focus greatly on sustainability in their materials. They are based in Canada too
The problem with J.Crew's sweater polos is the sleeves are so tight you can't push them up if you wanted to. If it weren't for that I'd probably own several.

I need this too fs!
dry clean or wash on delicate/wool setting - this has worked for me so far (3ish years), though I wash/dry clean minimally like
Hand wash wool sweaters, shirts, etc - use a detergent made for wool. Air dry them flat. (or use a mild hair shampoo (something with moisturizing properties) and combine it with some vinegar)
For your pants that are pleated with creases or jackets, use the mild hair shampoo and vinegar concoction and spot-clean your pants
Most definitely! I’ll probably make a short form video on it.

by far the best fashion content creator. Keep it up. God bless. 👋
Appreciate that homie!
Brandon's the type of guy who claps and whoops when the plane lands
And stands up as soon as it lands
I don’t think I’ve ever done that before but yes 😂

@BrandonBalfour And you sure do, do it, man.
Finally someone admits to wearing size small. I only buy small in everything once it has to be fitted. Even if it says “slim fit” i still buy in small. And I’m pretty muscled as you.
Haha it’s rare I’ll ever go to a medium because typically the length is messed
Man my lazy ass with thin arms and a fat belly does not help me when i want to wear knitwear
what's your height and weight? im about 5'10 and 155lbs and find im struggling between a small and medium.
@ 6’2 195lbs. I’m pretty lean, but broad shoulders still. Shirts, I’ll have to buy medium to large depending on if it has stretch on them. I’ve been contemplating which knitwear to buy for some time now - perfect timing!
Got you sorted 🤝
I just bought two knitted quarterzip sweaters yesterday in black and light brown. It's as if i knew this vid was coming up 😂❤

It’s on sale rn at j crew and it will probably be even more on Black Friday! Keep an eye out

Love your videos bruf !! Try posting more often 1 in 2 week isn’t enough for me ❤😅
Bro I’m already struggling out here haha. Love that you enjoy the content though ❤
Love it bro! Can you make a video about how you customize your suit supply trousers? Like which ones do you have pleated?
this is EXACTLY what I needed to watch right now
Dude we need trouser videos. Essential Colors, fit, style etc. I got all these tops and no pants and it’s too cold to walk around in boxers.
It’s a good day when Brandon posts then I know what to wear 😂
Hahaha love it
Could you do a video on some casual fall/winter outfits?
Office wear clothing coming soon?
Is that what you want?
Yesss@@BrandonBalfour
In my opinion everything Brandon wears is office approved 💪

Yeah, I second this... lets go brandon
Can I get the name of that Ralph Lauren gilet / outdoor vest you add (but it's not featured)? Love it, but need to find it first ;)
Ok found it
Houndstooth Double-Knit Gilet Polo Ralph Lauren
Where are those nice pants at 1:49 from?
Where did you get the white pants from? I'd love to get a pair of those. Link would be greatly appreciated. Thank you! :)
Nice to see a Luca Faloni option, they really have amazing colors and options for knitwear. Try their silk cashmere lighter options for warmer times of the year.

Yeah man definitely a premium brand for sure
I love this channel!! Keep it up brother!
God bless bro! Glad you find value
@@BrandonBalfourJordan do you fold these or hang them? I’m having a hard time deciding how to keep them put away correctly
Best time for your advice. Thx
Nautica has a wide varied selection and is very "affordable" which is on the top of my priorities. Nice video as usual😊❤🎉💯.
Need a full guide on pants. Sizing and where to buy them
do a watches review or tierlist, i am a young guy who has been following your videos for a while. i truly believe that a watch can make a simple guy a true gentleman. i would love to hear more about your tissot prx and dolce vita longines
I’ll keep that to the experts bro haha

quick question, what brand is that card holder at 6:40?
I have always not like cardigans and never owned one. I associated the piece with Mr. Rogers. I am not surprised he called that style "shit in your diaper cardigan". Can u do a video on which knitwear should be/could be tucked in vs tucked out
No wonder I couldn’t get the brown sweater in my size, you getting everyone to buy it😅
Brother, I am going through your archive and have spent the past six to seven hours 😅watching the videos to make a list of things to hoard everything on black Friday. I am considering a budget of around $1200 at max for summer, fall, and winter fit.
Just bought a polo lambswool quarter zip sweater
I dont know how it is in Canada but here in Portugal, 200 for a sweatshirt is a lot... :( not "affordable" at all
dw it’s very expensive and absurd in the states as well.
It's expensive in the US too, but I think it gives me good inspiration on what styles there are and then I go to a resell /vintage/used clothing app and shop there second hand
I like the trousers! Could you mention the model and brand? I see they are all same but different colors. Would love to add them to my wardrobe!
Do you have a video on the brands of trousers? Looks smooth
Good inspiration for me at a similar height, The way you style your clothes makes you look much taller than 5,8. Just converted my weight into lbs to compare and realised im 183lbs 😂 time to lay off the weights and hit some cardio if i want clothes to look better.
Haha it makes a big difference dude. That’s why I stopped training legs. There is an ideal physique for clothing to look its best.
@BrandonBalfour I did the same a while back but seem to hold a lot of weight in my legs, how often you getting your trousers taken up? Thing I might have to bite the bullet and start getting stuff tailored
Where are those pants from.@ 1:49 mark?
Can I ask how tall you are and what size sweater you are - in particular the suitsupply ones?
Can you make a video about finding the best fitting jeans and pants for specific people and occasions?
Very awesome Brandon
bro got the drip and body
Great video! What do you recommend in the world of winter hats? Maybe something like a cashmere beanie or carhart beanie?
where is that blue polo you have on from?
Please give us some tipps, how to clean these wool items. Since the washing machine isn't the best idea 🙏
Where do you get your sunglasses? I like it.
The knitwear sweaters/polos👕🥼 have come to stay!!!🔥

The problem with J.Crew's sweater polos is the sleeves are so tight you can't push them up if you wanted to. If it weren't for that I'd probably own several.
