When I read comments below Nirvana videos and see your image on the thumbnail it's like meeting a friend or a relative. It's also like "It's a correct direction".
Krist's bass just has a sound and command that makes you immediately know it's him. I remember hearing him play on "I should have known" by the Foo Fighters and 5 seconds into it, you could tell Krist was playing
This flew under my radar, my brother is a hard core Nirvana/Foo fan and a West Seattle resident and I know he missed this too. His wife’s office is right across the street from easy street, he wouldn’t have missed it for the world. I would have gone to Aberdeen in a baby heartbeat. Kicking myself this time but I’m ears to the rail for next time.
Bummed to have missed it! It's really cool that after all was said and one, Krist essentially said screw it, and went home, yet still comes out to play.
I miss Kurt so much this brings a tear to the eye a happy moment in memory of Kurt Cobain and seeing Krist rolling on that bass smile on the dial he’s loving the moment, top it off with “a twist of Aberdeen” this is very cool Kurt’s spirit lives on RIP KURT TAKEN FROM US TOO SOON!
Krist I was just at Kurt’s house during the festival playing songs on his steps. Wish I coulda caught your set but I was too late getting there. I’ll catch u at another show soon rock on man
Krist has got some fantastic bass lines under his belt just like his thunderbird, nirvana were ground breaking, nothing lasts for ever but the music will im sure
One thing I find with Krist is he knows how to tastefully honor the bands legacy in a way I think his former bandmates, wherever their souls may be, would approve.
Krist what's going on can you put giants in the trees on vinyl and 3rd secret please and what's really going on? Big fans please let us know what is happening what can we expect?
Man, Krist is such a cool dude. I wish I get to meet him one day!

u are everywhere under nirvana content
Just seeing Krist smile while playing an old Nirvana cover (of a cover) is truly heart warming. He’s clearly enjoying himself. Love it!
We need more

@@rocknroll1964 Then why are you here?
@@keepitsharp7231haha

krist has not lost his touch :)
It must really take him back… to me that song resembles their beginning it’s not just any old song…
You are totally right guys!!
It’s not a very difficult part. He filled a simply role in a great band
@@grant5603 yeah alright.
@@grant5603why do you undermine Krist?
Very cool! Closer to the Shocking Blue version. I like it.
Krist now looks like a middle aged English businessman with his bowler hat and twiddley stache! He can still rock the bass as he did tho!
i love his style right now
no he can't! no rock, no point, just an old mf hanging out trying to play the bass. sorry, always loved the guy and still do but that's the truthe✌️

They don't know that I play bass for Nirvana
Not the hardest bass lines to play

@@vincegedeon6583 that was not the point
The look on Krist’s face when he remembers just how awesome this song is, is classic.
At 2:45 you finally hear Love Buzz in the key (A) that Nirvana played it, and all sounds right for a moment. Cool to see this
Amazing
Ничё там не ля (A). Как играли в начале, так и на 2:45 в той же тональности играют.
Well it's still A# but an octave up
Kathy Moore is such a badass guitarist
THERE IS NO WAY. I wish I was there!!!!
I was there it was the best time of my life. The show was free too!!
Same
That's a groovy tune! I never knew that it was a Shocking Blue song, until now, that's wild.
Yeah, and this version is a mix between Shocking Blue and Nirvana. 😊
Nice to still see him play love buzz

About 30 years after the one they did at the Paramount go watch that version for the contrast. I love this version.
So cool they are playing it with the lyrics of the shocking blue with the kurt guitar parts. Awesome fusion

My drum set was on a stage that nirvana played on. It was called marsugis

Mark Pickerel's vintage Rogers drums look great, probably 50 to 60 years old.
Krist has always been a competent bass player.
