So good to hear Church Slavonic and our beautiful prostopinije. My compliments to the choir from St. Mary Church. Beautifully celebrated liturgy by Frs. Eduard and Jerome. Bookmarked as a favorite!
You chaps have the most beautiful liturgy of any of the churches in communion with the Bishop of Rome. As an Orangeman, I regret that I'll never be able to attend a Ruthenian Greek-Catholic liturgy in Church Slavonic. None of the Carpatho-Russian Orthodox churches offer them.
@@fayockphotography4367 I belong to an Irish Protestant society and we have a strict rule forbidding us to attend any papist religious ceremony. I won't violate that rule, but I'll confess that I've never been tempted to do it before becoming familiar with Rusyn liturgical music. I find it exceptionally moving, particularly in the traditional language.
@@PrenticeBoy1688 Hello friend, would you be able to assist at the masses of St Patrick when the Christian faith was brought to Rome? Patrick after all was ordained a bishop by Pope Leo the Great of Rome.
@@SATMathReview1234 Riordan, there's a good Rusyn name! It is to the credit of the local Irish RC population that they've always been open and friendly to me. I don't think I've ever had a bad interaction with anybody from that community. I'm a little confused by your question, though. Are you asking if I'd have participated in the mass during which Patrick was consecrated bishop? Or are you speaking about some time in the future following a change in theology in Rome?
The 3 entrance hymns are: Song 1 Beautiful Holy Queen, Radujsja Carice Prekasna Pribihajte Song 2 O Mary Mother of our God, O Marije Mati Boza Precista Song 3 O Godbearer Virgin Bohorodice Djivo Hope this helps Vince
Thank you for your kind words. This was the Franciscan Monastery in Sybertsville, PA which closed 3 years ago. Sad but they do not have enough monks to keep all of their needs.
Very beautiful and holy!! I wish my church would sing in Slavonic every Sunday!!!❤❤❤❤
Thank you for your kind words. St. Mary's in Taylor PA does a Slavonic Liturgy once a month.

Pax Tecum!
Greetings from a Latin Rite Catholic. This is as solemn as the Tridentine Mass and I hope to assist in a Divine Liturgy one day.
You are most welcome to assist

Oh, how beautiful!
Мне как этническому русскому, выросшему в Византийской католической церкви, приятно это слышать. это очень легко понять.

Can someone tell me what hymn is sung at the beginning of this Divine Liturgy?
I requested the names of the hymns and will let you know shortly. The second hymn is O Mary Mother of our God.
Beautiful holy queen is the first song.
