We have also discussed how to choose roommates and how to deal with such situations.

My son and his family lived in basement in Canada for a year so I understand it but they are well settled there by God's grace . so it is temporary .
Its normal to have these issues when we live with 5-6 people. so there's nothing to worry about 💯. Hope you the best.

Bhai comparison to Singapore life i think Canadian life is much more comfortable and convenient like
1L milk = $3 -$6
1pack bread = $1.5 to $3
Travelling for one stop is minimum $1
1 person rent is minium $300 for one room and there are 4-6 person in a room
Wages max $12 per hour but for new person is $4-$6.
So you should thank to god that you are in Canada not in Singapore.

When did you reach Canada and did you get a part time job ?
How did you manage your initial days in Canada as soon as you landed in Airport (i.e) without a part time job how much was the initial cost of living ?
Please say your answer for second question altest and Try to even make a video on it ?
In initial days, I was at my friend's place and within 7 days, I and my other mates managed to found a house (which was the hardest part). Many of we are yet to get part time job and we manage our expenses (i.e. $550/Month) through GIC. Part time job is also hard to find but not impossible. Don't worry about that very much, just keep preparing for your student visa and rest of everything will be keep managing automatically. I don't know that much about Brampton as I am living in Surrey Bc. Here I am living in two room plus one living room basement with just one more male roommate which is best part for me. Also both of us understand each other. As a result we never had any conflict with anyone. For grocery we choose two categories:
1. Common groceries which everyone needs to contribute such as milk, eggs, flour etc.
2. Personal groceries which is just yours.
For job responsibilities I am the one who cooks well. As a result other one is responsible for cleaning.
For expenses I use my money responsibly. For first semester my family paid for my fees Right now I am studying my second semester and I am done with my 3rd semester fees in advance with the support of my Gic. So just what I learned that plan your time properly so that you can manage your studies and shifts perfectly. Also try to interact with as many people you can to boost your knowledge.
My daughter is also coming in Canada, and thanks a lot u guise give such usefull advice

Dear a nicely described situation....actually aaj feel hota h na India is the Best or hum sab parents ke bigde hue Nawab hain...hostel experience is great in such situations, aapko har situation Swarg jaisi lagti h, fact is hamara mental computer har item ko INR me calculate karta rahta h background me for comparing cost....My son is in US...similar issues but practical solution to this is Whole expenditure will be shared...bande Chai/coffee peena shuru kar dete hain..besides make a roster of all household chores & everyone has to follow it,else kick him/her out....freedom as u told,har cheez ki limit j

Yes, of course, I will make a separate video on this. But to answer your question here, I have faced only 3 questions at immigration, 1) Passport Details (Name, DOB, and your basic details. 2) About my college and course (How many years, etc) 3) Asked me to verify my details before printing Study Permit. As I came to Canada during Christmas, they didn't issue me SIN Number. So when I went to get my SIN Number at Service Canada, they asked me about my current address (To just mention it in SIN Card, and you can give any address or anyone you know). So in case you receive your SIN at airport than they might ask you address. I will suggest you to not tense much but this process is very very easy but never try to be funny in front of them.

Gic is like Fixed deposits in banks in India. The canadian govt expects you to get some money with you when you land here assuming "if" you dont get a job immediaely that money should suffice you for a few months. but if you do manage o get a job , you can put this momey in GIC in the bank which you have an account in and earn interest on it.

I have 8 backlogs ( counted with repetition ) in B.E ( computer science )..and CGPA 6.1...what are the chances of visa ..
As far as you are accepted from any Canadian institute and holds a offer letter, your backlogs won't matter much.
