- The twelfth installment of the Bermuda Folklife Documentary Series, originally released in 2016. This episode focuses on the divers, restorers, academics, and former treasure-hunters involved with the discovery, salvage and study of Bermuda’s shipwrecks. Featuring interviews with Billy McCallan, Bill Gillies, Elena Strong, Dr. Philippe Rouja, and Nick Hutchings, this documentary will inspire a new appreciation for the tradition-bearers who keep Bermuda’s culture alive.
Another great documentary. Nice to see Nick following in Teddy's footsteps and encouraging others to follow his.
Very slow towing behind a boat is a great way to see the reefs. Simply letting the boat drift and hanging onto a line works well too. No engine noise to possibly startle fish. Done both a few times.
Beautiful video- thank you :)❤
Bermuda is heaven on earth was there in 86 I hope to get back there again. It’s absolutely beautiful and the people are awesome as well.
Recently went to this museum. Really cool place! Also did and excursion over a wreck site. Amazing history.
Who owns what they find?
Yes... But who stole the Tucker cross?
I loved diving on so many wrecks when I was in Bermuda..
The color of that water!!! I wanna run into it and just f l o a t ....
If I found a shipwreck I wouldn't tell anyone especially the government
It I found a ship wreck iwood not tell anyone I found it and it's mine
5:19 I’m sorry but that’s an unfortunate name
The treasure or things found belong to the man who took the risk and invested time into finding ….. you will never get people to report everything because you cheat them out of their investment……. Bad law in Bermuda should be the title of this video,
Shouldn't Bermuda be under water? We been told about sea level rise for the past 40 years or more.
No
Aye but the leftists junk science doesn’t add up. The computer model they use is flawed if it was truly in jeopardy nobody would be able to get insurance for homes .
3:20 why do American women talk in that strange croaky voice....I've heard it time and time again...it is utterly un-natural and sounds ridiculous. A clear speaking voice is a sign of a calm self assured person...that croaky voice is hideous!! What the hell is that all about?
