Is the "Orcane main but with a Maypul secondary mostly for Clairen" actually a thing, I'm in the exact same situation (tho I started playing Maypul when Orcane wasn't out yet, I was maining Kragg and I didn't want to deal with the pain that was Kragg vs Ranno during the first betas, but as I switched to Orcane I realised I might still need a Maypul secondary), that Clairen match up is so annoying, it feels like every thing she ever does is safe, and every single one of her moves wins against every single one of yours. Also I'd be interested in the Orcane discord if you could llink it.

I feel like there's always this massive, completely uncrossable gap between people who play games like this completely casually just to have fun and don't care about winning or improving at all which is way too 'whatever' an attitude to have for me, and people who take it ULTRA-seriously and fully intend to win large tournaments someday and have these lists of tips like this talking about OPTIMIZING YOUR TIME WITH THE GAME and THEORYCRAFTING WHILE YOU'RE IN THE SHOWER and REVIEWING VODS CONSTANTLY and TAKING NOTES ON HOW TO PRACTICE MORE EFFICIENTLY that is like WAY way way WAAAAAAAY over my head and uber-stressful to even think about, and probably always will be. I want to be somewhere in the middle -- good enough to play online and not get my face absolutely wrecked 100% of the time, and definitely wanting to improve, but also not wanting to take it TOO seriously and stress myself out to the brink. I wonder if anyone will ever make content for people like me or if it's always going to be one extreme or the other?
Content isn’t made for your ‘group’ but it’s instead made for people who are good enough to not get destroyed online. What separates the two groups, you and people who watch VODs and dream of combo strings, is just how *you* approach the content. Just watch the video, learn something, and maybe you’ll remember it in game. And if that’s what you want, that’s all you need!
I don't really understand your comment/what you're asking for. Of course there's a large gap between people who play casually and people who play competitively, they want different things out of the game and enjoy different aspects of the game. But it's certainly a spectrum... you don't HAVE to write notes after every session, review every vod, keep spreadsheets of different matchups etc etc if you don't WANT to? You'll still improve if you care to improve, and there's plenty of content out there to help you do so, even this video. It's just about what YOU are willing to do/will enjoy doing. You probably need to do SOME of these tips to begin improving, but you certainly don't need to do all of it.
the voiceover work deserved a Pulitzer prize award.
thanks got spammed grabbed playing ranked for the first time now im here 😂 my first platform fighting game
biggest tip, “spam” doesn’t exist in fighting games it is YOUR fault if you’re getting “spammed”
@@dude86he used the term spam correctly.
@@FishAnvil spot dodge? If you’re getting grabbed over and over that is YOUR fault
@@dude86doesn’t change the fact that someone would be spamming the move, regardless of whether or not it his fault 😊

Yah there will be a difference between people who try to improve and people who don't..?
skill issue

Just follow like 5 of these steps then instead of all 10.

11. Wait until the game actually releases
It’s out now!!!
What if I don’t want to improve?
Then don't listen to the video about improving
Dawg the game aint even out 💀
But Smash players never shower.
Neither do furrys, that's a dangerous ven diagram, LANs are going to be toxic to breathe
Which is exactly why we the rivals: the game where people actually take regular showers :)
