When you mentioned the Something Blue collection, my first thought for a pattern was the Sailor Swift top by Kutova Kika. I've knit two of them, I love this pattern!

I once read an advanced copy of "curse of the boyfriend sweater" by Alanna Okun. My brother worked at the new yorker and they have huge table of books in their office for people to take after they're done reviewing them. I didn't even knit then which is so funny to me, I had like 1 minute to look and grab something and this one jumped out at me. It is a book of short stories about love, life, friendship, and of course knitting, but it really hits home. Such a sweet read. Highly recommend if you haven't read this one yet! :)
