Wow Carla, it was so very kind of you to include my free DC scrappy crochet blanket pattern!!! This was a very helpful episode and you are a JOY!!❤ xoxo Judy
Carla, what a great cast full of ideas for those minis. Thank you so much for the shout out on some Chi Chat Knits patterns 🎉 ❤! Thank you always for all the great ideas!
You have an excellent array of patterns from which to choose. I have added a few to my advent choices for the upcoming Advent season. Thank you Anne ❣au
What a fun episode Carla and a lot of work for you too. I always seem to gravitate towards big projects 😳. I’m drawn towards blankets and shawls ( and I don’t even wear them). My sister used to tease me about that all the time. Thanks for sharing 🧶
Hi Candee!! Thank you so much!! I love blankets and shawls too. The older (and warmer I get), the less I wear shawls. Sigh... We just gotta knit what we enjoy!! Take care!!☺

Thanks Carla! That was amazing 👏Too bad all I could see was miles and miles of ends to be woven in 🤣 You almost had me on a couple of them! Maybe some day! 😉
Thank you for doing this great video🎉 Hey from North Carolina. I have a couple of advent ideas I think I’m going to use this year. The full of minies hat, Bubbles and berries wrap this one is crochet. I’m currently adding squares to my bits and bobs blanket. I hope you have a lovely day! I subscribe to your channel I can’t wait to see more great ideas from you
Great episode, Carla! I have an idea for that Grandpa sweater…..I’ve been wanting to make a Felix cardigan for a while and have the pattern but I MUCH prefer a v-neck cardigan over a crew neck. I’m wondering if a mash up of the two patterns would work?
Hi Carla! Great episode. I also made the Advent shawl by Maria G Knits. Matter of fact, I made it because I saw yours on your podcast and loved it so much. I recall the border being pretty intensive. In any case, it’s one of my favorites that I wear the most. My number one favorite is The Anthology by Helen Stewart. It’s like an art piece that I keep on the back of my chair. Be well and Happy Thanksgiving
Hi Heidi!! The Advent shawl is a lovely shawl - I'm so glad you made it too! The Anthology is a work of art - you can be so proud of your beautiful work!! Happy Thanksgiving to you too!!❤
Thank you for all of the great ideas! I am going to start my first blanket project this season. I really want to have a blanket that only has yarn in it that came from other people. I still don't know which pattern, but geez, I've still got 13 days to figure it out.
Hi Amy!! You're so welcome!! Woo hoo - an Advent swap blanket!! That's what I'm doing with my minis - but I feel like I'll be crocheting squares for a while and then PUTTING them all together - I'll just enjoy the process!! Happy Advent Making!!🎄
I have been watching several of these type episodes and no one has mentioned things for the legs (ie legwarmers, tights). Does anyone wear them anymore? Is that why they are not mentioned? I did really enjoy watching this. You had several things no one else has mentioned. Thank you very much.
Hi Jackie, hmmm, leg warmers...you're right, I don't see them too much. But that would be a great scrappy and stripey project to make! Very fun! Thank you for sharing that idea with me!!😄

Hi Carla! Thank you for doing all of that research!! I especially liked the ornaments and I saw a couple of sweaters that I might try.
Hi Michelle!! Aren't the ornaments so cute?? 😃🎄
