- Cooking Gurnard. The trick is the Basil and tomato. It makes it taste magic. This recipe is new to me through trial and error and to date it is the best way I have found to cook up these awesome orange fish.

such an under rated fish, most people in the UK dont see the gurnard as worth keeping but those that try it always rate it as a great eating fish,, delicious and beautiful too.

@@ClayTallStories I couldn't afford to be a patron and I remember the little hiatus that happened when most of your content wasn't on UA-cam during those troubling times. I am glad you got your financial incentive to continue making this content. I love these videos clay, they brighten my day and I am glad you upload a lot more often now. It is always nice when I wake up early in the morning (Canada gotta love those time-zones) and see a fresh upload from one of my fav channels at 5am. Good on you for making this accessible to more than just patrons. it is obvious you put some real effort into your video production, love the music. My family calls you the pig sticker and they enjoy your albums while I have watched all your videos. I try to spread your positive message where I can, it might not be much but I left my old skateboard (still in good condition but my skating days are over) with a note at the local skate park for some kids to find, a note attached that said 'If you can't be good, be careful.' and told them to get a helmet after I saw some local kids sharing skateboards. Thanks again for the beautiful clip, keep truckin and don't leave us subs in the dark. you're an inspiration and I hope to come to NZ someday. Peace
why would a patreon do that? a patreon is a supporter of clay right? lol, would you share videos you pay to watch and of someone your supporting?
@@karlwooduk Yes I understand but what made me check was I was planning on doing the same through patreon to help with expenses but somebody said they would share them, more to get my back up I think. I was asking for donation per month. They didn't like the fact I were asking for money. I think in the new year I will try again for a monthly donation then see how it goes. I just need to try figure out what I i can film in summer when my hunting season is finished. These videos are brilliant though and the Elvis fishing song is amazing
