- The boat is crap and the motor is not flash either but we are gonna try and catch a feed.The fish are starting to come into Tasman bay. I know where they are but have not got the right boat for the job.

Mate,I think you should do a vid restoring that little dingy, bit more fibreglass, paint and then some extra teak strips around the top, extra board at the back where you mount the engine and them maybe a little fibreglass bit over the prow to stop the waves coming in, then varnish those buts, would look mint!
yeah mate. First job is to finish getting houseboat repaired and painted.
mate that boat is as crusty as me! here in uk dogfish and pollack are like kawahai (spelling?) and are often thrown back, but its bloody good chewing, dogfish are small sharks, pollack are a member of the cod family and with the right herbs its 5 star grub, good vid mate :)

Yep the snapper are there of the beach, better at night, have't gone out yet .. the dreaded bourbon means I can't drive lol.😅😩 Got a nice kahawai an hour ago on a spinner setting some crab pots.
