Awesome review mate thanks 👍🎣
Good sell. Thanks.
Love a good tug
I modified my c tug cart pretty much like that to fit my Hobies. I cable tied some pvc tube on and got the same result.
but did you really get the same result though.. :-) that's for watching
@@PaddleGuy1 Seeing as I custom made it yes. But it would have been nicer to buy this one and not do the work.
@@Robonza i have seen a few variations of the pool noodle over the years and never went there as all hulls I have used did not need it - can see why you did now and took railblaza a while but they got there 👍
Tired of the hobie scupper cart I have! Such a pain to use when you get off the water and have a loaded kayak. This looks like a great alternative
I bought the rail kit for my regular C Tug to carry my Old Town Top Water Kayak. The rails constantly fold in ,while trying to load the kayak. They snap in place, but don't stay there while loading the Kayak. Very Disappointed with them.
there is a bunch of models they don't fit - some of the bigger OT Hulls and native hulls.
Do you like the rails or pads better? We will be using this to portage canoes in the woods.
Depends on the hull shape - when yo say canoe are you referring to a traditional Canadian canoe shape? The brand and model name of the "canoe" will help me identify which is better it that's not the case
You showed, but didnt mention the SandTraks Wheels, I honestly wouldnt buy these without that upgrade as well.
that option is not released yet but won't be far away - I just put my SandTrakz wheels on it
@@PaddleGuy1 not released? - Ive had my SandTraks for years.
@@DOCWHOK9 you missed my meaning - there is a cart coming called C-Tug R SandTrakz (same as you have but with rails not pads) ..the current C-Tug R available only offers Kiwi wheel. anyway, glad you like the concept of C-Tug R - as I say in the vidoe if you already have a C-tug then just get the Conversion Kit
This is C-tug version is the best for your buck.
Do these work better than the other ctug alternative? I've got a viking kayak and rolling it with the CTUG sand is still a pain for me through soft sand. I may not be doing it right
nah will not be ay easier in the sand - soft sand is just hard work when the yak is fully loaded even with the sandtrakx, I have adopted the double up bar to my setup when there is a decent walk in soft sand - that gives you 2 C tugs to pull the load and it really helps
I have a vevor cart like the c tug and I'm wondering if those rails would fit 🤔
could not confidently answer that one sorry - you need to take the risk and find out - would be similar but not sure how close
how do you disconnect the locking lugs on the rails to remove? I see how they lock in but cannot work out how to easily unlock them? thanks
just a bit of force, tap with the palm of your hand if you prefer - I just push them till the clip unlocks
Wonder if this will fit a 3 waters big fish 103
Don’t know sorry but the C-Tug R dimensions diagram on railblaza website will help you answer that question
Can I use this for My Pelican Bass raider 10E ?
hard to say as I don't know what it would weight when your hauling it nor can I see the hull shape in any google images - my thoughts are the flat pad c tug might be better or the dinghy wheels - this www.railblaza.com/products/c-tug-dinghy-wheels/
After the complete piece of crap c-tug I bought first, makes me not trust anything else they make, I’ll never buy another of their products if I just can’t trust them to work as intended. They might have improved but I’ll never find out, I won’t buy anything else with their name on it, and I recommend people avoid the c-tug all together.
