- This video shows you how to assemble and set up the Railblaza C-Tug Kayak and Canoe Trolley, including how to thread the straps.
This is one of the most popular kayak trolleys out there and it works really well. I brought one in 2012 and have used it with various sit on top fishing kayaks and it is still going strong! Great for making life easier when it comes to getting your kayak or canoe to and from the water from your vehicle. The trolley quickly assembles and breaks down and can be stored in the hatch (if present) of many kayaks.

C-Tug should skip the paper instructions they include and provide a link to your video instead. You explained this so clearly, thank you!
The instructions that come in the box are as “detailed” as ikea instructions. Appreciate you taking the time to show the assembly correctly.

Solid video! C tug owes you big time! I never would have managed the straps without your detailed instructions. It’s a very nice cart, but the mfg fell far short on strap assembly instructions.

I haven’t had the chance to use it yet but I see why it is popular. My wife ordered one and we’re sure to get a second. Thank you greatly for the instructions. The assembly was pretty straightforward but the straps we were left on our own. The instructions say “install as shown” you made it clear and easy to complete and about the storage inside the kayak holes I was unaware. Thanks!
Thanks for this. Just got this as a Bday gift and everything was straight forward till I picked up the straps and my instant reaction was what in gods name? Looking forward to trying this out. I was concerned at the sheer size of the ctug when I seen one being used but now that I see how it breaks down for storage I can see what a slick bit of kit it actually is. Cheers.

Thanks for the video, very helpful. So many people I see put this strap together wrong and then it loosens up and the wheels fall off the kayak. They blame the straps and say they the straps don’t work. If you put the straps on properly like this video you could pull a truck without them coming off. Love the C-tug and the straps that hold my Kayak on with.

I’m one of those weirdos who actually enjoys furniture assembly (including IKEA!), and I’ve assembled more things with more parts than I could even start to list…but this had me stumped. Wish I had found this video before wasting half an hour or so feeling like a complete idiot, LOL.

Thank you so much for this fab video. Was struggling badly with straps, and had wheels on wrong way round, and hadn’t clicked in the wheel pins. @@bradhuskers I have a 13ft Vibe Sea Ghost 130, 97lbs fully loaded and I still get a workout hulling mine down for a beach launch using the sand wheels. It may work for you but it probably wouldn't be efficient imo.
