Woah. Respect. A real workout on the thighs but you took in your stride. I love skiing really fast. That's the biggest kick for many of us but there are usually too many others on the slope to do it safely.
Great stuff, thank you for sharing it. I'm also trying to "explore" Abasin through your videos to understand places I'd like to explore. Wish you had a separate video where your GPS showed you on the ski map where you were at specifically. I paused and took screenshots of the signage here and there and am trying to piece it together but it's pretty difficult for me.
@arjunski i got them used recently for a deep day / rock ski. I had to bring them out to see how they performed in the hardpack. Im super impressed with them being 115 underfoot!
sick skiing! have those skis lasted you 12 years? would you feel ski have drastically improved or the quality hasent improved much from the past years?
Thanks! This was my first time on these, I just recently bought them used. He barely skied them for the past 5 years, so they are in pretty good condition. From what I understand. This is the first generation JJ. A lot of people say Generation 1 and 2 are better than 3 and 4, the more current versions. This one is stiffer and better in hardpack, as the newer one is softer and more of a pow oriented ski. From what I hear. Seems to hold true, as these skis performed well in all conditions this day
Never skied in Europe. But my understanding is that only the groomed terrain is migitaged by ski patrol in Europe. So I would have to say America, because I prefer ungroomed terrain
@greenchilleeski great skis! I am super impressed by them. Stoked to get them out on a pow day! Edit: I just got these used recently, if you haven't read the other comments

What was the occasion to bring out these skis? Haven't seen you use them before, but they seem like they still ride great!

@@jacobovermyer Thanks for the response! where would you recommend buying used skis?
I've had tons of luck on Facebook marketplace
Would you say the american or the european resorts are more fun?

Hey man! What is your setting on Go Pro? Is it hyper view?
Gopro 12 with max lens 2 in Max hyperview
Have the exact same pair, they make pivoting through trees way too easy! 🫡
