This is extremely helpful. I have a remote hearing scheduled for September 23 to establish a schedule and discuss the possibilities of settlement. It's really helpful to know beforehand what to expect.
I have been told that in mediation the lawyers have almost zero speaking but is that also true in a judicial settlement? Thank you for the clear video.
Thank You! I wonder if a mediator will be involved in my case. Siblings are foreclosing on a house we inherited that I want to stay in. I am trying to buy them out. I paid them a big down payment, monthly for about 19 mos., but they are impatient waiting for their balloon payment, so they are foreclosing. I do have a lawyer, but haven't heard of a possible mediator until now. Who knows if it will help. Probably not. Thanks.
@@Learn-about-law Thanks for your quick reply! My concern is that I won't be making enough money to pay siblings off even if filing for bankruptcy, so sadly it will probably stop right there and I'm sunk! However, I am looking for more work. I have 16 days before that conference. Prayers if you believe in them. Thanks!
Thank you so much, I have a pre trial November 1st. Im the defense in a divorce, my soon ex husband has not provided Any discovery information. Not sure what to expect. Thank you
