    Truly one of the best teams to not win a world series.

    A remarkable season that ended in huge disappointment. Game 2 of the Division Series was truly the highlight of the entire year. A game I will always remember!

    Great video, I really enjoy your work. Although, you're a touch off on your Tribe history. The comeback against the Yankees was not the largest in franchise history... That was August 5, 2001... we trailed 14-2 against the Mariners halfway through the 7th and came back to win 15-14 in 11 innings. You can find the ESPN Classic broadcast on UA-cam. Definitely recommend a view as it was an epic finish. I remember watching from the 6th inning and deciding to tough it out since I was shipping out to basic two weeks later and it was one of the last games I could see that season. I'm glad I did.
    It is actually tied for the largest comeback in MLB history. The other 12-run comebacks? The earliest was the Tigers rallying to beat the White Sox in June 8, 1911. The other came at the expense of the Indians as the Phillies rallied from being down as many as 12 runs on June 15, 1925.

      June 8, 1911, the Detroit Tigers overcame a 12-run deficit against the Chicago White Sox. June 15, 1925, the Philadelphia Athletics overcame a 12-run deficit against the Cleveland Indians. August 5, 2001, the Cleveland Indians overcame a 12-run deficit against the Seattle Mariners, winning 15-14 in the 11th inning.

    2017 ALDS Game 2 comeback was incredible but I have to wonder how much they lost because of it. They wouldn't have comeback if the Yankees had reviewed that Horrible called hit batter who wasn't even hit. Without that bad call, Cleveland likely would have lost game 2 as well. Then they went on to lose 3 straight giving the Yankees the real comeback story. So I have to wonder. Would the Yankee have fought so hard if they had won game 2? And on that note, How much Did Cleveland lose in that 22 game Streak. The 2002 Oakland A's lost in the ALDS too after breaking the Record. After 22 Straight wins, how much Baseball is left in a team? In the end, those last 3 games, the Yankees were the best team in Baseball and that's all that mattered in the end

      "the Yankees were the best team in baseball" This year, yes, but I'd say the Dodgers were the best team in baseball in 2017.

    • @MickeyKraut419

      No.. the PayMees... Y'all are the main reason that MLB has a salary based luxury tax. The PayMees are the only team to spend in the top 3 in salary each of the last 15 seasons, have paid $303 million in luxury tax, with another $15 or so million due for this year. Dispute that however you want to spin it, but when your top 10 salaries add up to more the total salary of 13 teams, and damn near matches the league average... every year since 2003... well... it's no secret y'all buy winning teams, you don't cultivate them.

    • @darthvader3470
      @darthvader3470 7 років тому

      Look at this a bunch of butt hurt Cleveland fans. The Yankees were the better team face it. Also stop bringing up the money bullshit. Everyone buys players but of course the Yankees get shitted on for this because they are the greatest franchise to ever exist. Your just jealous because you wish your team has 27 titles too. We don't buy every player. We have players like Aaron Judge and Gary Sanchez that came up from the farm system and weren't bought. Oh yea did I also mention Derek Jeter, Mariano Rivera, Jorge Posada, Andy Pettitte, and Bernie Williams? Those players weren't bought and came up from the farm system.
