Really pretty! My only issues are with the mold itself…. I practice witchcraft and I’m not a fan of the upside down pentacle 🙁 but that’s not ur fault…….thanks for the nice video!😊
@@JessicaStear i know right! Im well pleased for you! Great job! It has also inspired me to get some epoxy resin again and make some custom flake gearknobs etc
It’s totally worth it!!! I love the size of the 6x9 I want to get one that size but for sure practice and have a game plan before going bigger! It’s a lot of resin to waste if you don’t like the end😂
This is dope! And I love the song in the background lol! I wanted to know about the steps involved in making a ouiji board and this was actually was fun to watch!
www.etsy.com/listing/839297241/extra-large-ouija-board-silicone-mould?ref=shop_home_active_19&crt=1 It's Over $100 and they still want $50 shipping 🤦🏾♀️
I got it off of etsy from a uk shipper "Mr.Resin" when I lived over there. it was 100$usd I think and shipping wasn't so bad since I lived there but yeah if he can ship overseas its probably expensive but etsy has a ton of ouija resin moles so I would totally search around for the best option since they had a ton of styes, sizes, and prices!
I got it on Etsy from a shop called “Mr.Resin” unfortunately I think they only ship within the UK but Etsy seemed to have a lot of larger ones they are just pricey!
@@JessicaStear thank you, do you prefer a particular brand? I’m concerned with how it might react with the resin. Most of my research doesn’t mention that it safe for resin. The ones that did mention resin stated it won’t work with resin.
@@terrilyke9900 huh that’s strange I haven’t had any issues with it but obviously you don’t want to like soak your resin piece in paint thinner because yes then it will destroy it. I don’t use special or specific brands just any paint thinner I can get cheap with low odor!
@@terrilyke9900 I’m sure your brand of resin too would probably react different! I would try test! I wish I could tell you a brand but I have had like 3 different ones over the year and they all get mixed up and act the same but that’s really interesting!
Only long enough for it to be hard to touch but my resin was set in 6 hours so I could pour then but 24 hours would be fully cured. As long as the layer is set you can pour you don’t have to wait the full extended cure time unless you want too!
Thank you for getting back with me on that! Where did you buy yours from? I can’t find one that big🤔I think the biggest I’ve been able to find is 14.5 inches x around 9 inches
I got it from a Etsy shop called “mr. resin” hes a UK seller! It took me months of going through Etsy trying to find a good board with a decent design since a lot of them see to be themed like crystals or mermaids lol but yeah “mr. resin” on Etsy is who I got it from!
I appreciate the info! Haven’t been able to find that size in his store, on Etsy, EBay, or Amazon but I’ll keep searching and hopefully I’ll run into one but if not that’s ok. I’ve been looking at just buying a big tray mold and building my own, a little more work to it because the board isn’t built into the mold but I could make my own style and personalize it. Thanks again😁
This is what I would have done when you make when you get in your present put some white near the letters and design first and let it dry then start putting layers and layers
Like you get some resins and you put some colors mix it up for it covers the numbers letters all design on there let it dry for then then you put the layers of behind it and like flowers
I got it from a guy on Etsy called “Mr. Resin”! I don’t believe he ships outside of the U.K. sadly though but Etsy has TONS really good ouija board molds!
@@JessicaStear Yes they do. I found a few people. Thank you so much for the info. If I would have read the description, I would have seen your post on who you got it from. lol. Thank you again.
That sounds like it would be a awesome design!!! I got the mold from a shop on Etsy called “mr. resin” but I think he only ships through out the UK but Etsy has tons of molds from plenty of people! Interesting about the origin, I knew it was commercially used in the late 1800 as a child’s board game until it then was used more occult I think around the war? I’ve only ever used one that my uncle had that was actually super old from the 1900! This one just sits on my wall and or coffee table
I should but I’m careful to not get resin on me since doing just boring pours like this it’s no worry! On the slight chance I do I wash my hands immediately and I’ve been good! If I know the mold is going to be messy then I for sure wear gloves! Thank you though I’m glad you like the end piece!:)
Mamabear X4 heat guns do not get hot enough to melt molds as long as you keep them moving!! Open flames like torches and lighters I’ve had issues with burning my molds in the past and then they get stuck to your piece and rip!

It won’t let me copy the Etsy link but it’s the extra large ouija board from Mr. Resin
Love this

alguien sabe donde compró ese molde?

For this because I used so much resin and the huge flowers, it took a couple days and turned out beautiful probably 150$ even 200$
