Here are the steps listed out as best as I could get them down: Tools Needed: • 10mm / 13/32" socket wrench (with 2" extension for bottom door hinge) • No 2 Phillips head screwdriver • Flat-head screwdriver • Adjustable wrench • 1/4" socket • 3/32" hex tool • 1/4" hex tool Steps: 1. Disconnect power 2. Remove shelves, food 3. Remove screws on bottom part of freezer handle 4. Loosen screw near top of handle with hex wrench and remove handle 5. Unscrew plug button by rotating counter clockwise with fingers and remove handle mounting fastener 6. Install plug button and handle mounting fastener on opposite side 7. Remove top hinge cover 8. Use 10mm / 13/32" socket wrench, remove bolts from hinge and housing unit 9. Remove freezer door and turn upside down 10. Remove screw to remove "stop and hinge pin insert" (and white door closer) from bottom side of freezer door 11. Move hinge pin insert bracket to opposite side (maintain orientation) 12. Reverse door closer stop (white piece) by flipping it over and attach to hinge pin insert bracket 13. Pry off cover on top left side of fridge to uncover screw holes 14. Remove hinge hole plug and 2 screws atop door 15. Repeat steps 2-6 above, use 1/4" socket wrench to remove and install the handle mounting fastener 16. Using 1/4" socket wrench, loosen and remove hinge pin from middle hinge bracket -- make sure to save the white washer piece 17. Remove door from unit by slightly lifting and pulling away 18. Remove two screws at hinge pin insert bracket on bottom of door 19. Move hinge pin to opposite side of hinge pin insert bracket and move entire bracket to other side, keeping the same orientation 20. Tighten bracket to door 21. Remove middle hinge bracket from the housing unit by loosening and removing two bolts using socket wrench and screwdriver 22. Use 1/4" socket wrench, remove hinge pin from the bottom hinge, reattach to opposite side of hinge 23. Using 13/32" and 2" extender, remove the bottom hinge and reattach to opposite side making sure to keep the same orientation, and removing / the decorative screws / screw hole covers to opposite side where bottom hinge used to be 24. Grey screw attaches to the outside hole on the hinge -- just like on the opposite side 25. Pry off cover on middle housing screw hole covers and remove decorative screw -- switch sides 26. Flip middle hinge bracket 27. Attach to opposite side 28. When reattaching door, place down on top of hinge pin from bottom hinge 29. Place washer in between door and middle hinge and reattach hinge pin to hinge bracket using socket wrench 30. Place freezer door on top of middle bracket hinge pin 31. Place upper hinge pin on topo of freezer door 32. Use bolts to attach top hinge bracket 33. Flip the door handles (refrigerator door handle becomes freezer handle and vice versa) and attach using proper screws / decorative screws, etc.
Fiverrdrums A good bit of water gets in the bottom of Kenmore. Refrigerator each day from places unknown to me. Water shut off before it goes to to ice maker ?
What if the Kenmore fridge uses bolts for the bottom bracket / hinge, and the bolts have had the heads shaved off? By the way, the background music is really annoying.
