    I've just realised what makes Andrew's video's so relaxing to watch - he sets the music volume at speech level. Nearly every other UA-camr racks theirs up so high that I have to lunge for the volume control. Just thought I'd post my appreciation for a small mercy.

      @@JohnAvantiBK Yeah i use it for a daily driver, i wouldnt recommend buying one unless you are mechanically skilled, so far after a few months of owning it, it had 2 misfires, first one was from a bad coil which took 5 minutes to diagnose and replace, and then that misfire went away, then a month later the fuel injector failed and the whole entire intake had to come off. But that is all that pretty much "stopped working" by its self, its been smooth sailing from there on out so far, and its been fun changing out all the fluids and doing an overhaul of maintenance.

    Probably the 20th time that I have watched this one. Sums up the best of Andrew, to me. He convinces the property owner that replacing the old pipe is not necessary, thus saving the owner some money. Also, problem is solved. I noticed that in this one, Levi acts like a small child, alway looking back to see that he is in Andrew's line of sight. Kids used to drive me crazy sitting right in front of our television to play, blocking our view. They wanted to be sure that their mom or dad was watching them. LOL. This is a great video. When Andrew has long lags between video releases, I always come back to this one, to pass time.

Forest floor is very, very soft; when my folks moved into a wooded area, they had to sink 2" rock into that driveway for YEARS before it stabilized.

    There is more going on there to cause that flooding. That entire area looks like it is a pretty wet area to begin with. For starters the driveway needs to be raised about 12" and crowned. Secondly, your ditch is absolutely worthless if the owner doesn't maintain it. Judging by the looks of it before you started, I don't think maintenance is a very high priority for this owner. That driveway doesn't look like it's made out of very good material either. A proper driveway wouldn't hold water. Not to diminish your work, but this customer just wasted their money. You will probably be back to fix it again

    • @jamesnull2734
      @jamesnull2734 5 років тому

      I totally agree, there needs to be a culvert at the road to keep the water from running down the driveway, second the drainage idea is a good idea but was poorly executed. The road wasn't originally built with good base material and all the original road and the ground under it sank. You need about 60 tons of really large material (like pit-run) and a good crown to allow for drainage. Bring s roller and compact the new material every 3 to four inches and then add a top course and roll that. Those two large puddles will splash out the rock and the owner will have the same problem as soon as a week later. Great idea about drainage, but I dont suppose I would have done the job unless he agreed to fund the job right.

    LOTS of comments here about Andrew's work, his ethic, and the extra's he does that others will not.......(in my opinion) this is the result of how this fine person was raised. Spend time with your children. Yes, let them tear stuff up......but then show them the "correct" way to fix things....have pride in their work....make sure little details do not go overlooked.
    Andrew inspired me to take on a drainage issue I had this summer.......lots of hard work, and the results were great!
    I have said this before.....but Andrew needs his own diy show on ty......doing things "his" way.
    He is an inspiration to all that get the privilege to see him at work.....
