I hate to say this as it shows my age, but I loved this song and played it on a Wurlitzer 1015 jukebox in 1951 when I was 5 years old. It was in a tavern below my grandmothers apartment .I would play it until I ran out of nickles, and then the customers would give me nickles to keep playing it. This brought back a few memories, and you did a great job of playing this song . I still have The Dell Wood album, and the 45.
My siblings and I just loved going to Kennywood every year; so did my children and my daughter is taking HER kids there for the first time at the end of this month. The carousel was always one of my favorite rides; the music makes the ride all that more enjoyable.
I must say, i've come to miss him
Me too!
