I believe the "beam scissors" thing comes from the TV version where the Hell had a second, articulated emitter for another blade, it could either follow the same way as the first scythe or point upwards and become a pick of sorts. GoL version got this upgrade too.

Gundam Wing is the first TV series that started my absolute love for the GUNDAM Franchise. Making these choices too difficult for me now. New Wing Zero Custom EW Ver Ka, Heavy Arms Custom, Shenlong/Altron, new Deathscythe Hell, RG Tallgeese, Tallgeese II, Tallgeese III. Keep up the amazing work and great job with the review.

We are at least getting the wing zero rg. And they revived most of the bad boy bands suits.

The RGs have been slow for this year, we only got 4. Hopefully it picks up next year.

i might me wrong but the "beam scissors" thing is because it's supposed to have 2 scythe blades that can either overlap or separate in a scissor, hence the name

Am I the only one that hates these types of coated kits mainly because they don't look good most of the time just because of the nubs and no god hand, hobby knife or sanding sticks are gonna get rid of those without damaging the plating, plus they are expensive. So I'd rather just get a normal one and paint it or not paint it at all.

TBF the Deathscythe kit itself is great but yeah it's yet another case of giving a kit a metallic coating it wasn't designed for.

As cool as the EW ver looks, I still prefer the TV version simply because of functionality: it still has the shield which can be used as a ranged weapon, it can still use the the scythe even in cloacked mode, and of course, that double-bladed scythe.
Thus, I don't understand why Katoki designed it that way. Was he simply going for form over function?

With as good as this coating is on the EW Deathscythe Hell, I would much prefer to see it on the TV series Deathsythe Hell with its vertical open wings, double beam scythe (still not scissors) and buster shield.
