Agreed. I have the BSP D8 and the Xbox mode works with CODM as well. Also the BSP D8 works with the Switch natively. Pairs with the Steam Deck in Xbox or PlayStation Dualshock mode. I can also stretch it out to fit my Surface Go 2 tablet.

I just got mine and it works well the only complaint I do have about it, I have small hands so the travel from the buttons to the right stick is a bit far and the hood is straight flat, I find myself squeezing it.

My only problem with this type of controller is no way to charge the phone while using it. On the other hand I always worry about the longevity of the USB port on a phone when using the backbone-style controllers. I understand the reason why there is no QI-charging embedded into these, the phone gets hot because of the games then the heat from the charger would be bad, but they could make one with integrated cooling, QI-charging and bluetooth.
If you have wireless charging, you can try to lay the wireless charger on the back of the phone while you play. Otherwise, there are plenty olbow type c adapters on Aliexpress.
@@emelymercado4733 This controller shows up as a xbox Or ps4 controller, so it should work with almost all emulators. If the emulator you want to use supports either of them it should work.
Would have been nice if you popped it open to show us those switches & if they were swappable for better ones. And if it had a charger pass thru, guess I could maybe squeeze in a charge pad between the controller & the smart phone.... if it is thin enough

I enjoyed this review. The MC100 looks like a really great option, especially for the money. One of the things I like about this unit is that little lip at the bottom to support your phone. I get why they don't include these with USB-C controllers, because the phone has to be aligned with the USB port and different phones have different widths, but I wish they did. Although nothing has happened in the two years since I got my GameSir X2 Pro; I still feel a little bit worried having the phone's USB port pretty much being the only thing that locates the right side of said device. A little lip to help fight gravity when I'm gaming in bed would, I'd assume, take some of the strain off of the USB port.
Im on an iPhone and it no longer shows up as a DUALSHOCK4 and shows up as a GC-Pad. Delta no longer recognizes it... anyone else have this experience or a fix?

The lack of analogue triggers makes this rather less than my BSP-D8, which can also hold larger devices.
