Sims 2
In The Sims 2, Sims have the option to practice Yoga. But Sims can only perform yoga if they have at least 3 body skill points. At the beginning your Sim will do more simple yoga poses. Yoga will build the Sims body skill but also a secret yoga skill. At the beginning your Sim will lose their balance more often and fall down on their face. Falling down will make them stop doing Yoga. But as they progress, Sims will be able to do more advanced variations. At first they will attempt to do the pose standing on one hand, and then after they master that, Sims will do this yoga pose on one finger. But of course, at first they will fall couple of times.
Sims 4
In The Sims 4, you can practice Yoga on a Yoga mat. Doing Yoga will build the wellness skill for teens and adults and the the Mental and Motor skill for child Sims.
When you choose to practice Yoga, your Sim will automatically do Yoga poses that are in line with their Wellness skill. as your Sim builds their Wellness skill, more and more yoga positions will become available and your Sim will struggle less, and will become better and better at performing them and their variations. Unlike The Sims 2, there are a lot more Yoga positions are available in The Sims 4. But like The Sims 2, Sims can also fall down when doing Yoga. Doing Yoga will give your Sim powerful Moodlets. For that you can also choose to do a specific Yoga Routine. On the Yoga Mat, you can also choose to do a specific individual Yoga Pose.
With Sims 4: Spa Day you can also take a Yoga Class. All you need to do is go to a Spa and find the Yoga instructor. They will have a pink icon over their head. If a class is starting, you can join. Taking Yoga Classes gives more powerful and long lasting Moodlets than doing Yoga on your own and it definitely looks more fun. If you have enough Wellness Skill you can also teach Yoga yourself.

@@Akenn You know, I think I do use a lot of the spa day stuff on a regular basis. I have the sauna in all my gyms, as well as yoga classes. Converted the gym in Del Sol Valley into a spa for celebrities. I use it a lot.
@@nedrane297 Same! I also have a whole designated 4-story spa in my save 😄 And all the gameplay actually WORKS! I never owned Spa Day before the refresh so idk how it was then, but that’s what they need to model packs after going forward.

The Sims 4 is clearly the winner! Spa day is one of my favourite packs. I l o v e having my sims do yoga in the Sims 4.
Sims 4 wins at most of these imo, but people look for any possible excuse to hate the game so they can't admit when it does anything better.
@@ville666sora true. I mean there truly are things that the Sims 4 lacks in, such as gameplay/storytelling and attention to details. But it's not the bad game a lot of people make it to be. Overall I really enjoy it. The build and buy/cas and the graphics/artstyle are incomparable for me, personally.

I have worked on different animations like stretching routines and still working on calisthenics animations. Trying to integrate them to a new skill 🎉

1. I'm sure only Sims with certain personality can do yoga in the Sims2, much like meditating. 2. I'm pretty sure bending your legs backwards like that is NOT a beginner pose, so falling on your face with the legs over your head is itself a sign of expertise...
Your sim need three or more body skill points - but every sim can do yoga in sims 2 as long as they reach that.
Sims 2 Suzan is a crazy, mean girl. And if she could do yoga, I think anyone can. You need to have 3 body skill points to start ❤️❤️

Sims 4 definitely expands the yoga feature from the sims 2, but only behind a paywall of 20$ depends how much you really care about yoga 😅

actually it's possible to do a handstand on one of the fingers only, but only a few of Shaolin monks can do that, and it requires them a giant amount of training and concentration. you can search it up it's really interesting:)
