It's not too complicated, if you are only interested in "building" or if you just want to do some challenge and some random dumb shit with good graphics, without need to worry that you will ended up wasting several of hours, go with the Sims 4, if you are looking for a true life simulation game with a lot of interaction, go with the Sims 2, if you want a true life simulation game with more immersive world with some touch of reality go with the 3. All the Sims game have its own strength: The Sims 2: Variety of Interactions and the sims(even a townies) are actually feels alive. The Sims 3: Has a really immersive world that just make you feels like getting sucked into it. The Sims 4: Doesn't make you feel bad for pirating it.
This is so true. Sims 2 requires dedication to built relationships and fulfil wishes that you actually get to love the characters, plus having to satisfy the motives.
Sims 2 feels like the developer keep thinking how to make every action feels as realistic as it should be While Sims 4 just ask how far can we milk this default animation...
All you needed was a video of a sim taking a baby/toddler out of the highchair and then putting them in bed with one click in TS2 and about 20 clicks in TS4. Serving the family food at the table. Having a water balloon fight. Getting a sim to join an activity. Teaching a toddler to use stacking toys, or shape sorter.
I wish I could remake the Sims two with better graphics. It is a good game. I just wish it looked more like the Sims four or realistic like we all thought the Sims four was gonna be before the launch trailer came out.
I am going to start playing The Sims again after not playing for YEARS and i bought The Sims 2, i've played 3 and 4 also but even after all this time not playing the game at all i just return to The Sims 2, i love that game so much ❤
Sims2 is my childhood, when I was in primary school, my favorite thing was to turn on my PS2 and play Sims2 after finishing my homework. Although I was too young at that time and didn't know the conditions that needed to be fulfilled for the game to pass, I never passed the game, but just operating the characters to experience all kinds of life in the story mode made me feel very happy, and Sims2 will never be able to be replaced in my heart.😭❤
I think I'm less worried about remastered sims 4 graphics and more a perfected version of the graphics in the Sims 2. I like the aesthetic choices about the models, some of them could just use a little more shaping.
In the Sims 2 my Sim was devastated for days because her fish died and the she stepped on some cockroaches. In the Sims 4 I had kill sims and the family will get happy by watching TV and hour after…
Actually my grandmother puts eggs in her Mac and cheese and it greatly improves the texture. It only works for baked Mac and cheese, not the stove top kind
I agree. The sims 2 is superior to all other sims games. Gameplay is simple, graphics have aged well and game looks great but it doesn’t need as much space and it loads pretty quickly. The sims 4 has few good things but it’s way too complicated to be as enjoyable. 🤔
I play the sims 2, and it always takes up more time, but all the details make it feel more life-like. Personally, I think both games are good. Sims 2 pays more attention to the function details, lole cooking and etc But Sims 4 has more details in making the sim.
Ts4 also has small details that we don’t notice at first for example with brushing teeth, did you know that in ts4 if u don’t brush them they turn yellow?
@@alexf225 ok maybe in a few cases yes, but I still enjoy this game and has many good features like skill trees for occults sims, famous system, cas mode, build and buy mode, social dynamics is good and this when your sims can change their traits during gameplay.
I miss little details and 6:12 animations in Sims 2. It's been about 15-17 years since I played it. I also enjoy Sims 4 unlike most of the fan base. Only complaint about Sims 4 is I miss certain things like cuddling etc tht was in Sims 3. I also hate all of the loading screens other than tht I enjoy it.
Because sims 4 has much more to do they have to cut back on other stuff like little details consoles can only take so much but the little details do make it better
you can tell they put more time and thought into the game even though technology wasn't as advanced they did what they could and it feels more immersive.
The Sims was so ahead of it's time and everything was very intricate, I really enjoyed going back to it after years, and I still have fun and find myself playing for hours, the amount of love and care the creators had for this game is truly amazing.
Sims has lost the soul and meaningfulness to its gameplay. Sims 4 even with all of the DLC seems like it still gets boring after you make your Sim(s) and their house. There was this sense of mystery and intrigue about the townies and the world in previous entries. I never really cared about any of the townies in Sims 4, theyre all so bland.
This is the same sensation I felt, when I first watched a GTA IV & V Comparison and I realized why I always thought that GTA IV was way more fun. It's the same with Sims 2.
basically because the ts1 developers were limited by the technology of their times and when they they were called to develop the TS2 with more technological advances, they did everything they wanted to do in the TS1 but couldn't at the time due to technical limitations. Games from the 2000-2015 are from the era where developers generally liked the game and worked hard for it, completely different from today
Maybe they can't do it, or don't want to spend the time and money it would take to do that? Not really sure, but I hope Sims 5 is not a disappointment. Thanks for watching!
I would understand for players who wants a more detail stuff closer to the real world but those are just the small detail that me personally don’t pay attention bc is just a game. Is not like I’m going to learn what they’re doing. Like both games as it’s own. Sims 4 has better graphics than sims 2. In the end sims2 will have a place in my heart.
The sims 2 is a simpler options system but with extremely detailed actions (very immersive) The sims 3 and 4 have very complex options systems but very cheap, basic and lazy animations for everything. Also the art and geometry of objects in the world looks like it was imported from a paw patrol cartoon for 5 year olds. And that says a lot from its ancestor game (the sims 2) game already marketed for kids

All the Sims game have its own strength:
The Sims 2: Variety of Interactions and the sims(even a townies) are actually feels alive.
The Sims 3: Has a really immersive world that just make you feels like getting sucked into it.
The Sims 4: Doesn't make you feel bad for pirating it.
Great short breakdown, thanks for watching!
This is so true. Sims 2 requires dedication to built relationships and fulfil wishes that you actually get to love the characters, plus having to satisfy the motives.
Sims 2 feels like the developer keep thinking how to make every action feels as realistic as it should be
While Sims 4 just ask how far can we milk this default animation...
Thanks for the ideas! thanks for watching.
I wish I could remake the Sims two with better graphics. It is a good game. I just wish it looked more like the Sims four or realistic like we all thought the Sims four was gonna be before the launch trailer came out.
Yes, I agree.
Sims 4 has as much personality as a worm
Hey now! Don’t do worms dirty like that
This comment needs more likes.
Sims 2 - life simulator
Sims 4 - goof simulator
LOL, thanks.
Sims 2 is my favourite, period. So funny, so detailed, so smart. Brilliant game ❤❤❤
Thank you.
I am going to start playing The Sims again after not playing for YEARS and i bought The Sims 2, i've played 3 and 4 also but even after all this time not playing the game at all i just return to The Sims 2, i love that game so much ❤
Building in ts4 is better but gameplay in ts2 beats every other sims imo
Nice! thanks!
i never realized how much better the graphics for the food in the sims 2 was
Sims2 is my childhood, when I was in primary school, my favorite thing was to turn on my PS2 and play Sims2 after finishing my homework. Although I was too young at that time and didn't know the conditions that needed to be fulfilled for the game to pass, I never passed the game, but just operating the characters to experience all kinds of life in the story mode made me feel very happy, and Sims2 will never be able to be replaced in my heart.😭❤
I wish we could just combine ts2, ts3 and ts4 tbh
Yep, would be very interesting!
And ts1 !
I said before and I'll say it again SOMEONE NEEDS TO MOD SIMS 2 ANIMATION DETAILS ONTO SIMS 4
that would be a lot of mods & imagine them constantly breaking & having to be updated 😵💫
Great concept. Thanks for watching!
Now i appreciate my dad buying me a cd of sims 2 on my birthday way back 2005's+ dont remember what exact year its is. Because i am a kid then .
sims 2 just feels wayyy more realistic, even down to how the sandwich would actually look loll
At this point give me a sims 2 with open world and I can happily die
If that happens, you wouldn't be able to play.
But hey, I'm with you. 😂
I want open world so baaaaad..the loading to go to the neighbours is so annoying especially after the for rent expansion
All we want from the sims team is the sims 2 remastered with sims 4 graphics. That’s it!!!!
An updated version of the Sims 1
Not the sims 4 graphics, just a remasteres sims 2 😂
I think I'm less worried about remastered sims 4 graphics and more a perfected version of the graphics in the Sims 2. I like the aesthetic choices about the models, some of them could just use a little more shaping.
If I had played sims 2, I would have hated sims 4
They could've just made the sims 2 remastered
You forgot to compare how they do two different actions at the same time, like eating while watching a movie, or how they show emotions lol
In the Sims 2 my Sim was devastated for days because her fish died and the she stepped on some cockroaches.
In the Sims 4 I had kill sims and the family will get happy by watching TV and hour after…
@@ChibiDanyz I think we played different games
The sims 2 is way better than the sims 4
@@hamburguimmemes6312 Just repeating that on a loop is like saying nothing
@@barawen_who but its true, its way better, most people in the sims fanbase know that
14:29 bro what is that? It looks like a beaver with a corgi head.
Thanks for watching!
The Sims 4 went backwards. Also the Sims 4 was intended to be a online game.
Thank you for watching!
Getting on a speed boat while naked, only in the sims 😂
LOL, yes!
excessive emotions do not add personality to The Sims 4 at all, it looks like a cheap farce
Thanks for watching.
why do you need flour and eggs for Mac and cheese 💀💀
The main ingredient of pasta is flour and eggs.
@@fueyo2229but they’re not doing pasta from scratch, the sim just puts it all into the pan on the stove
@@czfuchs I guess they are doing pasta from scratch. Or at least it's what they want to represent.
Actually my grandmother puts eggs in her Mac and cheese and it greatly improves the texture. It only works for baked Mac and cheese, not the stove top kind
Can be stovetop baked Mac n cheese.
My favorite will always be sims 2 on PC
Unfortunately I can only play sims 4 on PS4
Three words : Open for business
This is why sims 4 base game is free on so many platforms now. Back to sims 2 for me.
I agree. The sims 2 is superior to all other sims games. Gameplay is simple, graphics have aged well and game looks great but it doesn’t need as much space and it loads pretty quickly. The sims 4 has few good things but it’s way too complicated to be as enjoyable. 🤔
Yes, 4 often glitches as well a lot during gameplay at times. Thanks for watching!
I play the sims 2, and it always takes up more time, but all the details make it feel more life-like.
Personally, I think both games are good.
Sims 2 pays more attention to the function details, lole cooking and etc
But Sims 4 has more details in making the sim.
i want to play sims 2 so badly...
Sims 4 food looks like slop.
For real. When playing Sims 2 I always zoom in on my Sims food because some dishes look so good!!!
Thanks for watching!
Thanks for watching!
Call me old fashioned all you want, but the first sims game will always be the best to me!
Awesome!
Have a happy Holiday and a happy new year and thank you for the videos
Happy holidays! Thanks for watching!
In sims 4 there are options to either play in or set fire to the leave piles. Don't know why the options wasn't available here?
Nicht hoch genug
6:35 was hoping you’d show off when they try and get the water out of their ears after exiting the pool haha.
Yes, I forgot to include that, thanks!
Ts4 also has small details that we don’t notice at first for example with brushing teeth, did you know that in ts4 if u don’t brush them they turn yellow?
Yeah and people still think that The Sims 4 has no details.
@@mekamino_kushi It has much less details than the previous games, especially the sims 2.
@@alexf225 propobly has the same amount of details but different.
@@mekamino_kushi It really doesn't. The game feels empty compared to the other games.
@@alexf225 ok maybe in a few cases yes, but I still enjoy this game and has many good features like skill trees for occults sims, famous system, cas mode, build and buy mode, social dynamics is good and this when your sims can change their traits during gameplay.
With the mac and cheese scene, in The Sims 2 gal, her body goes with the motion of stiring the mac and cheese... Look at that belly jiggle.
The litle details in the sims 2 are awsowme
Even the sounds of the sims 2 are better.
Thanks!
Yes, the loading can be tiresome. Thanks!
The teenager in me says they Hawk Tuah’d into the sink. Still, awesome comparison video.
I hate the way Sims 4 sims just stand around smiling and making dumb noises.
11:34 sims 2: *CAFFEINE KICKING IN*
Sims 4: hold up this coffee is making me dook
I miss playing the Sims so much.. life was so simple back then lol
Yes, agreed.
0:36 I too put mustard on the sandwich with my hand, followed by a butterknife, and then my hand again.
Still better than sims 4 😅
THIS MADE ME LAUGH WAY TOO HARD. Ty, I really needed this right now 😂
Because sims 4 has much more to do they have to cut back on other stuff like little details consoles can only take so much but the little details do make it better
Thanks!
13:57 I think if you rake leaves once or twice again, you can burn the pile in sims 4 as well
I regret paying so much for TS4, as even mods can't save it. Now when I feel like playing I go back to TS2 and TS3, as these are the best 😊
you can tell they put more time and thought into the game even though technology wasn't as advanced they did what they could and it feels more immersive.
1:03 *cries into sandwich* : ((((
Thanks for watching!
This is the video I've been waiting for. I actually downloaded Sims 2 already like 4 months ago but I still haven't installed it
I need sims 2 remastered version with the amount of mods that already exist for sims 3 and 4
I mean mod for CC, like objets, accesories, ...
The Sims was so ahead of it's time and everything was very intricate, I really enjoyed going back to it after years, and I still have fun and find myself playing for hours, the amount of love and care the creators had for this game is truly amazing.
Awesome, thank you for watching and sharing!
SIMS 2 Gameplay
Sims 4 Asthetic and Sims
Sims 3 world
= hopes for Sims 5
Thanks!
Sims 2 only failed on the eating speed tbh
This is the same sensation I felt, when I first watched a GTA IV & V Comparison and I realized why I always thought that GTA IV was way more fun. It's the same with Sims 2.
Yep! Thanks.
If the mechanics never changed but gotten more advanced from 1, 2 and 3; 4 would be superior
basically because the ts1 developers were limited by the technology of their times and when they they were called to develop the TS2 with more technological advances, they did everything they wanted to do in the TS1 but couldn't at the time due to technical limitations. Games from the 2000-2015 are from the era where developers generally liked the game and worked hard for it, completely different from today
The Sims 2 gameplay soundtrack is still the best! I can listen to it for hours on Spotify too ⭐️ THE SIMS 2 SUPREMACY ⭐️
I could just clearly watched myself 2 is being showing off and bullying off of how glamourous the game is really is to 4 😂😂❤
Yes! Thanks for watching!
@@Pronoun_Sims Ya❤❤!
Sims 3 is my favorite of the Sims games but I still appreciate Sims 2 for their little details
All you had to show was the sims getting into their car and driving off the lot and it’s already better than the sims 3&4 combined.
Yes, the car interaction comparison is one I should do, Thanks!
the little nuances, such as scooting of the chair in when she sits down to eat, that make the Sims 2 feel more natural and real.
Cancel Sims 5 and just remaster Sims 2. If they remaster it and make it open world, easy money.
Maybe they can't do it, or don't want to spend the time and money it would take to do that? Not really sure, but I hope Sims 5 is not a disappointment. Thanks for watching!
i think its been fixed by now but in the sims 4 sims would never stay still while sitting down for meals!! they kept playing musical chairs
Thanks!
The sims 2 is a simpler options system but with extremely detailed actions (very immersive)
The sims 3 and 4 have very complex options systems but very cheap, basic and lazy animations for everything. Also the art and geometry of objects in the world looks like it was imported from a paw patrol cartoon for 5 year olds. And that says a lot from its ancestor game (the sims 2) game already marketed for kids
Just looking at the sandwiches compared, I really don’t think Sims 4 graphics are that good. Sims 2 just looks so much better
me watching these scene (4:49) at wednesday at 1:00 am: "Yeah, that's cool."
