Edge and bang for buck still goes to the VR-09/VR-730 though as next man up for stage keyboards that aren't awful RED. Pianos are better on the YC but that's kind of where it ends. The organ is as stage great, the UI even faster, but the synths on the VR series sound great but also fall under 'very useful' in making for a great all-in-1 stage. Of course you can spend far more for not too much better with Nord, I'm not even really a Roland fan but I would advise people play with it before deciding.
Hey. Seems like many YC61 owners are not digging the keybed of this instrument-lots of people report that the keys get really clacky and loose relatively quickly. It’s especially not what you’d expect from a pricey stage keyboard. So I wonder what your experience with it has been after having played it for a while. Thanks.
Recognize that for the YC series, each of the three versions (61, 73 and 88) feature a different keybed, specific to its intended use. The YC61’s waterfall keybed is patterned after organ keybeds. For a full hammer action (for piano and EP) the YC88 is your choice. The YC88 is more like the Nord Stage 3/4. The YC61 more like the Electro. I personally own the YC61 and pair it will a Numa X 88 (as midi controller) for Piano and. EP. The YC plays great and sounds better. Stage or studio.
Hello . the piano on the Yamaha montage sounds better than the DGX 670 - 660 cvp. The quality of the piano and the sound. I use 2 Hs7 monitors and a Yamaha Hs8s subwoofer. Please answer me . thank you very much . Horia
Thin sound. Far away from the original. I bought one and returned it. Now I am a proud owner of a Hammond SKX Pro. The Sound. The Soul. The One. Don’t waste your money. If u mean business buy the original
I don't need it, but I want it! LOL Love the simplicity and of course the sounds! It's much more fun than playing virtual instruments.
I'm in the same boat LOL, totally agree!
I'm a big 88 key keyboardist and workstation user myself. It's taking a bit to get used to my YC61 but for its size it packs a big punch.
I hear ya, thanks for watching!
Nothing i would need, but looks & sounds awesome. 😊👍
I feel you fam! Not something I need either, but want....that's another story LOL. Thanks for watching!

i did not keep it, I was just testing it out. I'm not a live musician so I didn't have a problem with it. But it did not feel as good as the Nord imo.

Yamaha Yc , Yamaha mx 61 or Roland Juno ds what’s best choice
Whichever fits your purpose/use case.
With this update is possible to modify now the “key trigger” for a prompter attack in the organ section?
Not sure
That board in particular sou ds dope. Did you like the King Korg?
I haven't spent any time with the King Korg so can't speak on it.

Is there a question?
@@SoundsAndGear yes
@@tudorhoria764 Not sure what the questions is, also I don't know what a DGX 670 - 660 cvp is.
Yes montage pianos are more detailed than the DGX. Montage pianos are better but the DGX still has good pianos that are worth playing and enjoying.
@@truthmanifestingtruth Thanks you very much !
thank you for the great video. does this keyboard have seamless transition between sounds and programs like the nord electro 6D ?
It has been a while since I tried this, I don't recall if it transitions seamlessly or not.
I may get one of these instead of the Nord.
Definitely worth considering in my opinion, both sound incredible for sure!
Lightweight big sound
Thanks for watching!
Does it have a piano sound?
I don't recall it has been a while since I played it, but I believe it did.
Yes, the YC has several very good pianos, EPs and the like.

Cool, enjoy!
But its triple the sound -,yes its unfair….a real hammond can not be compared to a clone. Itś a joke @@user-et5lz9nf3e
