Just a heads up the ticking is from the HPFP. It’s more noticeable when you remove the padding under the intake and add headers.

Same config and same problem with the gasket from SPD ENG. One question, can you you those MT tires for daily? Not a problem at all? I’ve heard that the compound of those tires is soft that letting the car sit on those tires create a flat spot or it’s changes the round form of the tires. Any problem? Thank you.
You can daily them but it’s not recommended. The flat spots are somewhat avoidable if you keep them inflated and use them often. Otherwise they are prone to getting them but after a few minutes of driving, the tires round themselves back out. I don’t have these anymore but I keep a similar compound on the car now. I have the nitto nt01 road course tires. The side wall is stiffer so I can corner hard and it still has R compound. I keep them around 35 psi on the street and they will still have a slight flattening when the car stays parked for over a week at a time. It still requires heat to function properly tho.
How did these tires hold up?
I ended up buying a set of the supercar 3 tires and they hooked great and they are more track focused.
It’s always recommended to buy oem header gaskets the after market ones suck. Glad it wasn’t a bigger issue are you lowered on springs ?

I’m thinking about running that same tire size, do you have any issues with rubbing?
None at all. I tried it in tour mode with the softest suspension setting. The car doesn’t squat hard enough to rub.
Did you do any modifications for it not to rub?
Not at all. I’m currently on a 305 square setup and no rubbing either.

The car is full bolt on. The engine is stock internally with the exceptions of some pushrods.

@@BrandonSumner-w5y headers and mufflers. Realistically you don’t need anything else. The 10 speed is already fast. Those two exhaust upgrades with a tune should create a monster.
@@Saldalaperformance so some long tube headers and what you mean mufflers ?? Just mufflers or an exhaust kit
@@BrandonSumner-w5y mufflers would replace that from the rear axles back to the tips.
You’ll gain the most from headers and the tune. The mufflers will help the sound and add as a supporting mod for the increased exhaust flow and reduce weight as the factory muffler is heavy.
