Still can't get over how every time Crockett yelled 'NOOOOOO!', something bad happened regardless. Epicly and hilariously parodied by Key and Peele in their LA Vice skit.

Which led to being promoted so quickly at such a young age. The aftermath and stress of his undercover time, strained his marriage with Holly which is why she took a job in LA. You know the rest.

I love the ending. Not what happens but how it’s shown, Don Johnson mid yell and then echoey silence, they did that type of ending a lot in Quantum Leap...minus a yell usually.
Bonnie Timmermann's one of the best casting directors Hollywood's every had. she knows how to spot it, who the best already are, then which role to put them in that makes a movie work. and she was Vice from 85' thru 89', so that explains A Lot.
When the various levels of USA law enforcement are not enforcing the law, because they are more interested in their various schemes, sometimes civilians must enforce the laws.
The wife of Bruce's character would not be charged in real life due to the "battered wife syndrome". Surveillance of the abuse conducted by crockett, tubbs and the FBI agents would be presented to the DA she would be let go.

I bought the Season 1 DVDs 15 years ago and still have them. I was shocked to see Bruce in this he is so young. The Tony Amato character is definitely a POS no doubt. But for some reason, I find it weirdly funny that it's Bruce Willis playing the part. The part in the airport when he and Tubbs give each other super aggressive patdowns left me in stitches lol
That guy would later go into witness protection and take on the inner circle of the Hungarian mob with a Canadian dentist, his ex-wife, and Michael Clarke Duncan.

Yeah it was a proving ground what they can do and can they last and advance into bigger productions. You start small to get a taste for it then go big. That is why whoever is all of a sudden starting in big things always out of place and fails fast in it's career.
