- Neuroendocrine tumor patients now have wider access to Peptide Receptor Radionuclide Therapy (PRRT) following the January 2018 FDA approval of Lutetium 177 DOTA-TATE (Lu 177). PRRT was approved for the treatment of somatostatin-receptor-positive gastroenteropancreatic neuroendocrine tumors (GEP-NETs), including foregut, midgut, and hindgut tumors in adults. Medical experts discuss the advantages and risks of this newly approved treatment method.
This treatment gave me back my life .
I did well for over 2 years with having my prrt in Nashville at Vanderbilt. Now growth in liver has appeared. Available round 2 has been brought up.

How many sitting of PRRT treatment

Prrt treatment is pain ful
Do you have any recommendations for a patient that has neuroendocrine cancer, is not able to have surgery to remove it all, she did the prrt and it did not help her at all. Tumors continue to grow.
Renee, that is a hard question to answer, every case is very different. Not everyone responds to PRRT.
