    Came here today to learn more about NET tumors because my fathers biopsy came back today and was diagnosed with a metastatic NET stage 4. Having a hard time dealing with this, but i want to be as informed as i can be about it. Thank you!

    Thank you for your expertise in this area. It helped me understand what happened to my dad. Within 5 weeks he was diagnosed with NET and died 8 days later. They told him there was no treatment. :-(

      My wife currently have this tumor in her rectum, and spread to her kidneys, liver, right lung. But the worst is the treatment she receve for the medic.

      That is very sad, very hard to say goodbye, grieve. Our daughter in law , was diagnosed with NETS in Late November, right before her 35th birthday. She said she hadn't had symptoms, yet looking back, they were there. She just never associated them with such a dire outcome. I also read how this particular, and rare type of cancer is increasing in her age group. We all need to research, look into and advocate for early detection, somehow!

      Exactly what our daughter in law's Drs told her. No way, could any Dr. Tell someone that there no other option or hope. That killed our daughter in law. She gave up. There are options other than chemo, radiation.. They both destroy everything. Makes more sense that to try and find out earliest.. Our dear sweet daughter in law passed last month. Only 5 months after diagnosis

      No Dr should ever tell a patient that they can do anymore. Nothing. Out of their hands. Our daughter in law was told the same. It literally killed her. She had fight left in her heart.

    Is feeling hot on your face and flushing a symptom of this

    • @josiegabriel1503
      @josiegabriel1503 Рік тому

      Absolutely. I have NET and suffer from constant flushing throughout the day. Even with treatment I still go through flushing and it's the most annoying symptom. I have tumors on my liver so it's stage 4. Strangely enough it's only on my liver and nowhere else. Normally it starts in your pancreas, intestines or lungs, but mine went straight to my liver.
