Fun/weird fact: The way the centipede is build, it actually becomes af millipede instead. The difference between the two is the amount of legs on each body segment, a centipede has one pair of legs, whereas the millipede has two pairs on each segment.
Thank you for bequeathing me the knowledge to distinguish between two similar insects. It will help me greatly as i prefer to eat things with a single pair of legs per body segment/section. T.Y.S.M.
Man the 2600 is such an awesome console. The woodgrain, the switches, especially on the launch edition with the thicker chassis, it may aswell be the sexiest console of all time.
Yeah but them graphics though 😬 I do understand that it doesn’t look nearly as bad on a blurry CRT display, but it really hasn’t aged well in that department.
@@RoughTortoise840 I think alot of 2600 games look fine, my favorite example being Solaris. Some of the games do look admittedly awful but that was usually because of Atari's terrible treatment of developers hence why other studios like Activision made better looking games.
Something about the editing here made me think of a video where you are an auctioneer on like antique road show, showing off various eldritch artifacts for sale and giving a sort of run down of information about them while you tap on them and such.
I remember when I was younger I'd spend weekends with my grandparents. (This was around 2000.) They had an old Atari system and I'd always play with my grandpa. I don't know what happened to it, but this certainly brought back those memories.
I don’t think I will ever understand the concept of building a ‘console out of little bricks but I do know that my non existent bean limbs would not be able to build such a complicated structure, well done Lord rift👍
I have my dads Atari from the late 70’s along with a handful of games. One of them is hockey but with a damaged case from my dad getting mad and throwing it at the wooden panels on the wall
I think that this is my single favorite contribution to the world of ASMR. This is just so much fun and so relaxing! I’ve been watching this day and night since it came out. I love the variation. I hope you enjoyed creating this nearly as much as I’m enjoying watching it 😁
This brings me back to my childhood, when I first discovered tingles. Way before I ever knew what ASMR was. Thanks Uncle E! ETA: gonna try to fall asleep to this but I know I'll probably watch the whole thing, lol.
Adventure was a lil before my time but i had an Atari plug in play. I was OBSESSED with that game, always trying to get further and further. On top of the fact I absolutely love legos…..thanks for being around E. Happy napping everyone.
I went over to one of my parents friends houses and he had an old Atari plugged into a tube tv. My mom showed me how she kicked it back in the day and it was a lot of fun getting to see her favorite games!
I rewatch the Katamino ASMR you made a few years ago quite a bit to help me sleep at night. I think this video may just be my new relaxation one! Fascinating to watch and some great triggers. Also, nice to see the beard growing back ;)
the Atari 2600 was such a magical gaming system when I was a kid. We got ours in 1983 when I was 7 or 8 and the box art for the games were imaginative and exciting. The internet didn't exist back then and gaming magazines weren't yet popular, so every time I went to a friend's house they had games I had never heard of. It was always an "adventure" plugging the game into the system for the first time to see what it was. I actually have a vivid memory of the 1st time I played Adventure, and it was definitely at a friend's house. I had never heard of the game and I thought it was amazing. Still do, actually. Fun fact (although these days it is common knowledge): Adventure is the 1st known game to contain an easter egg within the game itself. Programmers for Atari weren't allowed to be recognized for their work on games, as they were employees of Atari, so to give Atari the proverbial bird, Warren Robinett wrote his name in a secret room that could only be accessed by dropping several items in a specific room, allowing you to walk through a certain spot in the wall. lol he actually mentioned this in the video just a few minutes after I posted this comment.
I love how a lot of your videos that are similar to mainstream ASMRtists just come about authentically. Instead of just building legos all the time ER thinks oh you know what I like that set this will be interesting for my viewers. And it waaaaaaaas🎉
Rift ... U know what i want! GIMME MORE JOYSTICK SOUNDS . I was kinda overhyped for this from the shorts yesterday 🤣 . Didnt dissapoint . But please , more long versions . Im drooling as i type to the sounds😭
The Atari 2600 and 7800 alike were my introduction to video games in the 80s. I prefer the graphics and sound of the 7800 but liked that the 2600 still captured one's imagination.

The Atari 2600 was released in 1976, however the Magnavox Odyssey, the very first video game console with different cartridges, was released in September, 1972, I’m sure Lego would rather put out the classier and more popular console though, which they did.
You should build the fender stratocaster legoset, it looks really cool and you can build it in either black or red, it comes with a strap and a Lego amp too!
this is a long shot, but is there a chance we'll see carpet scratching with Charlie again? the first episode with the really odd editing was strangely mesmerizing
Is it just me or the joystick actually sound like the lego build sound from lego video games? That's like one of the best triggers in the world.
When you need to build that wall in Lego Star Wars
When you need to build a water gun in Lego marvel
When you need to build the generators in lego batman
