Pumping Wine Through a Vinbrite Filter
Вставка
- Опубліковано 23 тра 2018
- Making wine from kits is pretty easy but the most time consuming part is the filtering. If you are waiting to bottle your wine and get on with something else, waiting up to 90 mins for your wine to filter seems an age. This demonstration shows how just adding an inexpensive pump inline before the filter can reduce that time by around 90%.

Are you still using that setup and if so how well is it working?
I’ve stopped making wine Jim. I was drinking too much.
That’s a lot of splashing going on, do you ever have any issues with oxidation.
None at all. It'd likely be an issue with beer though.
That's how the filter is designed to be used, I just added a pump.
If you were so inclined, you could always add a tube to the outlet but it's always been fine for me Tony.
Gee Whiz RS fair enough, thanks for taking the time to get back to me, much appreciated. Love the wide mouth fermenter, nice and easy to clean.
