I got the alternator check, the machine said it ok. I replaced the battery at the Honda dealership so I’m watching to see if that takes care of it or there’s something some other issue
THAT'S NOT STEAM! see the warnings on the battery?! Thats Hydrogen, extremely flammable and very bad to breath. Check voltage with a voltmeter, maybe the battery is being overcharged, maybe its just a failed battery, but dont breath that stuff.
Thanks for the heads up, I replaced the battery with a new one, and it seems to be good for now. I’m going to have the alternator checked just to be on the safe side. Thanks again
@@jimpway a hybrid vehicle doesnt charge its 12v battery with the alternator only. The high voltage system also charges the 12v battery. Id at the least check the voltage at the 12v battery while the car is running or powered up to verify its not being overcharged. But id also consider taking the car to a repair facility who can handle Hybrids/EVs and PAY to get the high voltage/hybrid system checked out. Id tell them up front what happened with the other 12v battery and have them look it over. Hybrids/EVs can be very dangerous and are not to be taken lightly.
Scary! Looks like it could catch fire 🔥 Breathing those chemicals not good
Over charging by alternator Take it to Mechanic who is trustworthy. Check alternator for malfunction Not Cheap
try auto zone they will check free.

Leave it uncapped while you test it, if it cant vent fast enough, its going to blow up.
That sounds like a lot of danger…..I had the battery swapped out with a new one, so far it seems to be good

Its obvious you needed a new battery.
But its good to be aware batteries can do this.
Question is,, what's causing it? Just a bad built battery?
I got a new battery, and it seems to be ok but I’m watching it
Hi is over change
Didnt discount the negative
Smell of rotten egg is presence of sulphur! That was from my chemistry class and lab work in high school.
It's most likely a defective alternator or voltage regulator.
Yes four other persons told me the same thing. I replaced the battery but still going to have the alternator check. Thanks
Lots of danger in front of you, Battery Exploding, sulfuric acid fumes, Fire
That is factual….I had it swap out for a new one, so I’m watching it. Thanks
You have bad alternator ( So battery doing all the work and over heating
Ok, Thanks
