Dear, you are mistaken. Majority of royals could not sustain their wealth because they funded the freedom movement secretly. They opened their artillery to the freedom fighters and uncountable resources for the cause of freedom, secretly, unbeknownst to the British. They would not have been able to be resourceful had they openly revolted against the British. It would have all been taken before the freedom movement even started. Whatever little was saved from the Brits of our history and original manuscripts is thanks to the Royals - the Nawabs and the Rajputs. In the north, they are still loved, respected and adored to this day because of these selfless acts.

She's appropriately behaving. What is this doormat thing? Talking with respect to the person who really deserves it doesn't sacrifice your self respect. Keep the royalty aspect aside, do you know her contribution in growth of Baroda? Constitution ke nam pe don't show your jealousy towards royalty. You don't wanna give respect that's up to you but you can't question others giving respect to someone.
And she's not so called Maharani. She has been conferred the title with all due diligence. No matter what constitution says as long as people of her state are acknowledging her as their MAHARANI she will be their Queen. And she is a Gujarati Rajput married to a Maratha family living in Gujarat so what's the confusion here for her? She is balancing both the cultures well that's it.

@@manjuyadav90th82 Can you tell how she is MAHARANI of BAroda. Article 18 of the Indian constitution mandates Abolition of Titles to ensure equality.
I am sure as citizen to India you must be AWARE of this?
