SOCIAL MEDIA was one of the biggest ‘influencers’ on how the decade of 2010s shaped up.
What began in the decade before, as cutting age technology that promised to revolutionise the way one connected, bringing communities closer, discover new things, level the playing field, gave a platform to put forward one's ideas…. It was optimistic, almost giddy with joy at having found a way to connect millions.. provided they had internet access.
