  • A quick video of my srt-4, still slow, needs more fuel. At 85-90% IDC at only 20psi at redline, WG duty cycle is only 54%. Lots of room for more power with more fuel.
    This is the 2nd SRT I've owned, this one needs a good amount of TLC but she will be a beast one day! Hoping to have it ready to get kicked off the track in march for not having a cage when it runs under 11.49!
    Video is with Ecsta ASX all seasons, 235/45/17
    Looking forward to the comments and trolls :)

      Must have a huge fuel pump on his car. Mine doesn't move when I make a pull. I didnt notice it until I read your comment lol.

    You should have been fine on fuel I ran my stage 3 on a 255 Walbro and dw1000 and had enough to spike around 30 psi

    Those 1000cc don't suffice? I made 500whp with same injectors at 90percent duty cycle on a pte 5858

    I have an 05 with 93k miles and its now seeing bolt ons and a DSi for the 1st time ever...I want to go BWS...I'm worried about reliability though

      Michael Bruns pro tip. Don't push 450wtq and ignore a cylinder 1 misfire for a month

      Sayno86 I had a full bolt on diablo tuned 04 back in the day but never went to a "bigger" turbo. was thinking about it this go around but my 04 had 40k miles not 93k

      If you do buy a BWS, go with Turbobay. My MIC turbo lasted like 5k miles on 18psi. My Turbobay has been going strong and on way higher boost, spike 26psi and drops to 23psi. No shaft play after 3k miles.

    What are you spiking? Seems to pull nice on the top end. Agp has a Bws now and I'm thinking about picking one up just to try out.

    Can I do e85 tune/injector without changing stock clutch? My SRT-4 only has full 3" exhaust. Stock everything. I just put a brand new OEM clutch last month.

    I found one at my local car dealer. I don't know the mileage and price yet but in general are these pretty reliable? I prob wont be putting any bolt ons until I can afford a maximum disaster lol but stock is it pretty decent?

    • @Sayno86
      @Sayno86  7 років тому +1

      If it's stock you're golden. Just keep an eye out for 3rd gear issues. The stock motor is good to 150k plus. If the car has been modded I personally would stay far away.

    hey can you help me out with a cylinder 1 misfire code?

    • @Sayno86
      @Sayno86  7 років тому

      Well, I can tell you what happened to mine. I checked the plugs and I my #1 sparkplug was usually coated in a small bit of oil after doing a hard pull which was causing misfires. I had a cracked piston ring that was leaking oil to the topside of the piston and eventually it just disintegrated while cruising allowing a LOT of oil to get on top of the piston which bent the rod and threw it from the block

    • @PeanusParker
      @PeanusParker 7 років тому

      Sayno86 did you ever get it fixed? if so how much was it?

    • @Sayno86
      @Sayno86  7 років тому +1

      Ricky Morales no I never fixed it. Would have required essentially an entire new engine since I had a hole in the block and threw a rod. If I did the work myself and out in a slightly built engine it would have been around 4k

    • @kotacolestock
      @kotacolestock 7 років тому

      Sayno86 I had the same problem with the misfire on cylinder 1. When I first naught the car had no problems and now it's not running as much boost when I first got it and it's no were near as fast as it was

    • @Armurp01
      @Armurp01 7 років тому +1

      Air Intake Gasket Manifold can be the culprit for the misfire issues
